I booked out all of Hoopenburg for my family and bridesmaids, wedding was held at De Meye wine farm. We had such a great stay, treated so well, so reminiscent of our farm that we grew up on. Thanks to Charlene and Sherri who helped us have a fantastic time and allowed us to get beautified in their home for... More

I'm certain there are fancier places to stay in the Paarl/Stellenbosch wine region, but I'm very fond of this b&b. The atmosphere isn't posh and snooty, but it feels very real and comfortable. Rooms are well furnished, the beds are great, and the garden setting very peaceful. Staff and owners are very hospitable. The hot breakfast is ample and extremely... More

We arrived very late after an oversea flight. The room was prepared, red wine and water also in the room, which was nice decorated and quite with garden look. The breakfast was very good with a variety of cereals, eggs and jams. The garden is very beautiful so we were sorry that we couldn`t stay longer.

A little oasis in the middle of 'no-where'. Beautiful gardens. A very comfortable room- bed was great. Everything you need. Amazing breakfast. Friendly hosts! Complimentary bottle of wine. Just a gem. Thank you

We had a lovely stay at the Hoopenburg Guesthouse. It is a very charming place with lots of nice little touches. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent and it is a lovely peaceful setting. If I had one criticism it is that the staff kept leaving our room door unlocked but the think this us because it... More

The property is a dream with spacious rooms, a postcard view from the window, the little lake and the geese and the hosts were fantastic. The rooms are very spacious and the breakfast delicious. The grounds around the property offer a postcard view all around.

Great accommodation, would definitely recommend to all friends and family. The hostess made one feel at home and the breakfast was great and individual detail given to both our meals. Would not hesitate to make use of the accommodation again. Loved the Border Collie "herding" the chicken.

What a stunning scenery! We booked four of the five rooms for our wedding and were welcomed by the friendly hostess(Sherry) and she went out of her way to make us feel at home. However, the owner, Charlene, was not as friendly and made it seem like we were intruding even though I've explained months ahead that the accommodation is... More

Very well run with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. Serene and calm surroundings. Stayed four nights and enjoyed it. Beautiful setting and peaceful beyond words. Breakfast was superb and rooms cleaned spotlessly. Highly recommended by all of us who stayed there. My daughter couldn't stop playing with the two friendly dogs on the huge lawn. Great... More
