We stayed here in February and were allocated a room across the road...not part of the main Hotel building. We asked for another room...but with no luck and it was to late in the day to move on. Our room was dirty and the wiring taped to the skirting board was unsafe.....a fire risk. You could not get into the...

This old and quirky lodge is a short walk past the university to the town centre. The room and bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely greeting. There is a small dip pool if you are hot. The breakfast is good. If you are looking for a small hotel at a reasonable price this is it. Parking is...

We were then moved accross the road to a badic room but we could hear everything in room next door, very disturbing and noisy, had no sleep first night what...

Being wonderfully centrally located is the boon of this property. The room in the old slave quarter (96) was very comfortable in its simplicity. Closing...

My fiance and I had a wonderful time at this lodge. We felt at home from the warm welcome at check-in until we had to leave. The room was absolutely beautiful and furnished with lovely antiques. We especially enjoyed the free-standing bath. The breakfast was delicious and can be enjoyed in the small courtyard next to the pool. Safe parking...

I have just spent 5 days at Ryneveld Lodge - sheets dirty, creased & possibly the cheapest & oldest linen available. Fresh large blood stains on the mattress cover. Extra blanket stiff from dirt & dust. Bathroom shabby & dirty even though I complained on the first day & asked for the suite to be spring cleaned. Towels never get...
