This was AMAZING!! The unit is perfectly planned and the layout is great. Stunning views and an amazing hot tub. Maybe consider placing stepping stones from the hot tub to the house, to prevent guests from trampling mud into the house?

The lodge was exceptionally well equipped to a very high standard. Whilst there is a restaurant on site careful attention needs to be given to its opening hours which are not consistent through the week. However it would be very easy to self cater at the lodge. It was very comfortable and clean.. You do need to be relatively self contained as there was no personal contact with any staff responsible for the lodges - all contact was by messaging. The lodge also does need a few instructions about how to use ( or avoid in the case of the panic button) the features of the lodge. We also questioned the value of the panic button as the erroneous pressing of the button and the subsequent alarm sounding brought no response or contact from staff!. The unexpected hot tub outside was a lovely feature. Altogether a great experience in a lovely remote area with only nature and stunning views for company.

My family and I booked a quick 2-night stay at Wagyu Mountain Lodge, and it exceeded our expectations! The property is even more beautiful than the pictures, and the lodging itself was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable—glamping at its finest! We stayed at the Olive. Our family of four had plenty of space and felt very comfortable throughout our stay.
We requested that the hot tub be turned on before our arrival, so we were able to hop in and relax right away. Such a nice touch!
We also had lunch and breakfast at the Wagyu Experience restaurant, and the food was excellent—highly recommend dining there.
The Lodge feels wonderfully secluded, but it’s only about 5 minutes away from a shopping center that has everything you might need, and Paarl isn’t far either. We would absolutely recommend Wagyu Mountain Lodge and can’t wait to come back!

Nestled at the foot of the mountain in Paarl we experienced our first glamping experience. What a please. Modern, very well equipped. Comfortable in and out. Sophisticated decor, large bath and wood fired hot tub the cherries on top.

It is a beautiful place! We arrived at night and the wind was cold and the room was so cosy, aircon on hot, to lift the room temperature, our beds had warm blankets that was already on. It felt so cosy! The spa is also a big bonus! Definitely a place to visit!

We stayed at the lodge for one night and it was very special. The lodge itsself was perfect, well appointed and very clean, the views, the hot tub, the peacefulness - it exceeded our expectations. For dinner the chef came up to barbecue our steaks - the highlight of our trip.

Where do I begin…. The cabin was just fantastic. Oh if we could have this in our country… we ordered one of the wagyu packages, delicious! And I don’t even like meat. Such a secluded beautiful place that I am recommending to everyone. If we come back to SA, 200% we will book this again.
No way that I can give less than 5 stars for this one. A small tip for the crew: great if you could also offer kiddies packages (cucumber, carrot, small sausages etc). And Watch out with heating up the hottub, as for us it was too hot to enter, we could access it the next morning. :-)

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wagyu Mountain Lodge. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the owners have thought of every detail to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. I could not recommend this enough. The woodfire jacuzzi overlooking the mountains make you feel like you are miles away from civilization while only being a short drive away from so many incredible activities in the region and in reasonable proximity to the airport.

What an amazing location. The cottage offers everything you need. Beautiful interior. This place is really magic. With the source for the best Wagyu meat on the Braai, The sunsets from your Hot Tub are amazing.

Loved this place. Peaceful comfortable and great base to see the area. Not far from Franshoek, loads of wine estates, Taal monument, and Paarl Mountain. Spent four nights and could have stayed longer. There was some power too during load shedding so not an issue. Fantastic hot tub. Waygu beef in the restaurant was INCREDIBLE. Breakfast was limited, but sufficient. Would go back again.
