De Noordhoe Hotel is our absolute favourite. We have stayed there often and feel it is home from home. The bedrooms are very comfortable and come en suite. The breakfasts are amazing with ample fresh fruit, cereals and a menu to choose from for your cooked breakfast! The staff are very friendly and helpful. We love that it is in... More

This is a little gem of a place in the heart of the chilled Farm Village. Lots of great little shops, the Sushi Bar is a MUST and the Deli and Tapas Restaurant was just divine. Highly recommend it for those wanting to get out of Cape Town and see the real Cape! Early morning runs on the beach, wine... More

That's exactly what it is about and we like to think everyone staying with us wants to experience exactly what you have!!! And this is certainly the best time of the year to be doing it all. Away from the working city and in a rural, relaxed, village life... Only 25 minutes from the busy city life. Funnily enough I... More

What a great place to stay! The hotel is situated in the Noordhoek Village, surround by lovely eateries (great smells wafting around you), wonderful vibe with children playing in the wide open areas. The hotel has a lovely big verandah that leads into the restaurant area, from where you can chill and watch the locals do what they do at... More

Firstly I have to say that Noordhoek is one of my favourite spots in the world; long sweeping white beach, just a short stroll through the meadows from the hotel, and a lovely village atmosphere, where you are made to feel welcome. De Noordhoek Hotel is buzzing with atmosphere, and is such a safe place for children. There are restaurants,... More

My one regret was wasting money on hiring a car for my family. We live locally often eat at the the Sushi restaurant but never stayed at the hotel. With family out from the UK we checked in for a holiday away from home. By the first mornings breakfast the staff new the names of all 6 children. The 'secret'... More

Hahaha, with uber on the ground so efficiently in Cape Town nowadays you are 100% correct. A vehicle in Noordhoek just isn't necessary. Just keep the pool area a 'secret' please. Here is too a great 2016 all. Cheers, Dougie. More

My wife and 2 kids spent a week at the hotel in Spring. What a great experience. With 2 young kids it's often a hack to get around, find parking and do things with them. De Noordhoek Hotel has a great playground in the complex, and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to take your pick from. It was particularly... More

Hi Mark. Hope you guys are well up the Transkei Coast and that 2016 has been a good one so far? It was great being able to show you and your family the 'Lesser Spotted Deep South' of Cape Town. A true hidden gem of this amazing city. It's hard to marry like with like and I am glad that... More

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, the front desk staff were excellent on arrival, room was ok - definitely not 4 star (not sure where the 4 stars comes from)! Room services the next day, tea and coffee not topped up, dirty cup not replaced, bathroom goodies not topped up! Had to request additional towels on both days! The... More

The ground floor area and lobby of the hotel is very nice. The environment of the Noordhoek Village is lovely. The staff at the hotel are warm and professional. But the hotel was let down by the state of my bedroom. Two easy chairs with scratched and torn coverings. A wardrobe and desk area made from cheap and utilitarian processed... More

Thank you Philip. It is a lovely spot and we have done an immense amount of work to get it to the position it is in right now. The village environment is extremely unique and we certainly treasure what we have. The variety of shops and excellent eateries on our doorstep are certainly a massive plus, something we certainly couldn't... More

The Hotel has a great view, its pretty and scenic and tucked away in the mountains. Overall my experience was not great at all. The staff was not friendly, whilst they were accommodating, it left at lot to be desired of the service. Secondly the place is very busy, bordering on noisy. The night I arrived both bars downstairs had... More

We in a very vibrant and busy village with some of Cape Town's best eateries and socialising spots on our doorstep. It's not the Camps Bay strip and is certainly tucked away behind Table Mountain but yes it does sometimes get festive. My advise is to go and meet the colourful locals but if you are looking for a quieter... More

Nice hotel in Noordhoek, in the village so quite a buzzy place to stay. My room was on the first floor. Worth checking before you book to see where your room is - there is no lift. It had a sofa I'd last seen at my granny's house and net curtains in the bathroom likewise. The double bed was two... More

Yes, it's a continuous process redoing up a hotel. You should have seen what I took on 3 years ago... We are busy with a complete refurb through out and the rooms are being tackled now. Our beds are ridiculously comfortable, that is for sure. Please just ask for a king bed if that's what you like next time. And... More
