We had the Best stay!Wonderful views of Knysna, the ocean and the Heads. Delicious breakfast, the Best creamy mushrooms you have ever tasted. Pete and Mart are lovely hosts and advised about the best beach spots and restaurants. Walking distance to town and the famous Waterfront. Great swimming pool! Will definitely return soon! Denise

Pete and Mart are the most special hosts. I love returning for my business trips as I know my gorgeous room awaits. From the meticulously decorated rooms, to the glorious breakfasts... you can't go wrong booking in here! Your only disappointment might be that they are fully booked!

We stayed here two nights after a reckomendation fron Swedish friends and we were most happy to have discovered this cosy, friendly and beautiful lodge. Mart and Pete are wonderful owners and hosts. Pete tells about South Africa and you can learn a lot from him. The cooked breakfasts were to die for!

This place was totally perfect! Nestled into the hills above the bay with beautiful views and close walking distance into the downtown. The hosts were incredible, offering local knowledge and advice, great conversation, and delicious breakfasts! Loved it here!

We stayed for 2 nights and the place was quaint with old school decor which I loved, downside was no air con but view from room was beautiful and Mart was very helpful with what we should do in the local area. About 20min walk downhill to the waterfront with lots of places to eat.

We only stayed one night in this guest house but we wish we could have extended our stay. The view from the room and from the main dining room is absolutely stunning, overlooking the lagoon. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. I wrongly booked a double room online instead of twin beds and the owners kindly asked another...

Very quick visit, but lovely views, comfortable and very clean room and bathroom, good breakfast and friendly hosts ticked the boxes. The nightcap complimentary sherry is a nice touch. The parking area was a bit too full.

This was my second year at the Knysna Oyster festival and also the second year that I have stayed at the Guinea Fowl lodge. What makes me go back to Guinea Fowl every time ????? Hospitality is the one of the best you will find, mouth watering breakfasts, the rooms are very cosy and spacious, close to the Knysna mall...
