This was one of the highlights of our holiday. We can't praise the staff enough for their fantastic welcome, friendly service, excellent food and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived and were told we had been upgraded our whole experience was completely perfect. The property is in a fabulous location with views over the lagoon and instant access...

This is a wonderful and peaceful place to stay when visiting Knysna and surrounding areas. When we arrived we were up graded from a Junior suite to a Superior suite. It was large, beautifully decorated in shades of cream and was very comfortable. We had superb views of the lagoon and the room had a small terrace outside. All the...

Leisure Isle Lodge reminds one why there will always be a need for boutique guest houses. Great location. (provided you have transport) Excellent accommodation. (the room does get light very early in the morning) We had dinner on our first night, it was a fantastic meal albeit pricey. In general, the service we received was personal and efficient. Breakfast is...

Every single employee who works at the lodge were friendly, helpful and full of smiles. Cher made my booking ( and changes thereafter) effortless. We stayed at the Villa. The Villa made us feel like we landed in heaven. The view , beds and decor is amazing. We found every single staff member professional and willing to make our stay...

What a beautiful place, with the perfect setting. There is however some room for improvement, especially with regards to checking if everything is working as it should after renovation. Although I did not had hot water (in winter), I will be back for a next time, since I trust that you were just not completely ready for guests yet.

The lodge was on Leisure Isle, which was located at a quiet part of town. You definitely need a car to access to the Lodge because the roads leading there are not well-lit at night. The place is stylishly decorated with an amazing view of the lagoon in the day. However, it was a pity that the in-house restaurant Daniela's...

Whilst Leisure Isle Lodge is ever so slightly more stylishly decorated and a lot more pricey than Amanzi Lodge (just down the road), we prefer Amanzi to this establishment. The reception areas at Leisure Isle are more spacious, but the room we stayed in needed some attention. The furniture looked slightly dated, one of the arm chairs squeaked so badly...
