Lovely guest house with very interesting mix of furniture and collectable items. Good breakfast with set offer and choice of cooked breakfast. Owner - Theresa - has a big personality - very helpful with lots of local info and knowledge. Kindly booked a restaurant for our 1st night there- Burgundy restaurant- was OK but offer had changed (for the worse)...

Really nice rooms, good communal areas, nice pool, good breakfast, personal touch in welcome and checking satisfaction. Taxi advisable as a few km from town/restaurants but taxis very reasonably priced. The only small negative is that guests have to carry own bags up to rooms which is a little taxing with luggage for an extended trip and youth slipping into...

This was the 2nd stop on our drive from Port Elizabeth and it didn't disappoint. We had a gorgeous room with fabulous wet room and, with the library and balcony right next door, it almost felt like we had a private suite. Just Being slightly out of time was no hassle. We had a car but for dinner we chose...

We stayed in two rooms as a party of four adults, on the second leg of our journey and were greeted on arrival by the owner and shown to our rooms, which were first rate with everything we required, She had booked us in to a local Resteraunt for dinner, which could be cancelled if required, we took up the...

After a week of "proper" hotels this was a home from home. We had a fantastic room with a huge balcony overlooking the bay, eyes peeled for whale watching. When we arrived the lady told us that dinner reservations were made in town and a boat trip for the following day as well. Not obligatory, of course, but our advice...

This place was quite a distance from the town and a car or taxi was essential. While luxurious in some ways with beautiful views from the lounge areas it had a curiously empty feel about it. There were no staff obviously visible and not many guests. The breakfast menu was limited although pleasant enough. It seemed as if it had...

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely guest house, we were greeted by a lovely lady who informed us that a booking had been made for an evening meal which we took up, we did have a taxi in and out of Hermanus but as there were 4 of us this did not work out expensive. Anything we asked for...

My wife and I stayed at Les Baleines for two nights. It is a lovely spacious guest house with really nice bedrooms, great sea views, good breakfasts and its nice and quiet. The only downside from our personal viewpoint is that it is located a good ten minute drive from the town of Hermanus, Since there is no in house...

We were welcomed to this lovely guest house by the owner. Our room was very spacious with lovely views. There are two large public areas, one with a snooker table and honesty bar and the other with a great selection of books and binoculars to keep an eye out for whales. Our host had pre-booked a restaurant for that evening...
