My husband and I had a lovely time at Edenwood house. The room was comfortable (bed a tad soft) and I could see a lot of thought were put into the amenities. Host/owners were welcoming, friendly and warm. We were given lots of suggestions for places to go and see. Breakfast room was enjoyable, and my husband particularly loved the sauces! We stayed there a night.

Thank you so much for the lovely review - so glad you were happy here and we hope your holiday continued to be as good. The bed has a pillow top cover which makes it a bit more luxurious, perhaps that made it seem a bit soft but it is a Posturepedic below the pillow top, hope that does not put you off returning someday when next you visit our beautiful country. Kindest Regards Dawn and the Edenwood Team

Thank you for the really nice review - sorry I was away when you visited for the second time, but the fact that you returned again makes me so happy as we must be doing something right. We look forward to welcoming you and your lovely girlfriend back to Edenwood again sometime in the very near future.

My friend and I stayed at Lemon Tree Cottage whilst competing in a horse show this week. The accomodation was just perfect for us. Spotlessly clean with very comfy bed (and I'm super fussy with beds and linen) and bedding, extra water everywhere and even milk in the fridge. I especially liked the little dog statue on the stairs. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. I'll be booking again next year for sure!

Thank you so much for the lovely review, it is much appreciated. As you know we have a real soft spot for the horsey community - having been there at 5.00 am plating mane and brushing coats etc during my time! I am sorry I missed you this last time and look forward to seeing you again next time.

Another wonderful stay at Edenwood, now our home away from home when visiting parents in George; the same high standards of room presentation and cleanliness, all the accoutrements you could wish for in a self contained unit, a beautiful balcony to admire the hadedas shrieking across the forest canopy and an enormous modern dual-basin bathroom. The unit would warrant six stars if there was a full length mirror! The tranquility and privacy is idyllic, WiFi was great and the TV is enormous. Be wary of breakfast though, which is of such high quality and in such large quantities across multiple thoughtful and expertly presented dishes (each bespoke every day, cold and hot options) that you will struggle to regain your appetite again during the day! Karen looked after us fantastically and Stan and family (including Ollie, Halo, the shy kitty and the pups) are always warm and engaging; it will be great to catch up with Dawn again next year too, who we missed. Thanks again and see you in August 2020!

Gosh - once again a lovely review from you - I am so sorry I was not here to see you this last time - but you know I was rushing home to be here to meet you all again, and of course the funny story of the beautiful vegetarian quiche in the car accident! I am on the mend now, as you can see - the first day back in my office in a month - so glad my staff cared for you and that you were so accommodating to the whole family during their stressful time. You have such a way with words if I did not live here I would want too! ha ha! Just one thing - the full length mirror is inside the wardrobe door :-) See you next year. Kindest Regards

We did not stay in the main house but the self-catering 3 bedroom. Well equipped with everything that we needed for a holiday. Situated perfectly for our requirements and in a very quiet area. Friendly hosts.
