We stayed for 6 nights at the beginning of December, but sad to say, in spite of the Lodge being an attractive building with attractive spacious rooms and garden, we can only echo most of the negative comments contributed by previous recent reviewers - e.g. very poor and slow breakfast service - waiting for half an hour for a cooked...

The location was reasonable, but not great for what we wanted to do. The room was very good, although towels did not get replaced during our 5 day stay. The cooked breakfast was repetitive, something you don't expect at a B&B. The continental breakfast was good and the latte machine was excellent. The staff, apart from Dane, were not very...

We found this lodge on Trip Advisor and have no hesitation in recommending it on to other readers of this website. Our Garden Room was spacious, comfortable and cool and we enjoyed being able to step outside on to the lush lawn. The lodge with its secure parking is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac so no through-traffic...

Location and accommodation was just what we were looking for. Something clean private and elegant. All the incidents we had whilst staying there for five days made us conclude to this poor rating. Rene (the owner) has done an excellent job with the accommodation, however her patronising attitude had no limits. Naming and shaming her guests in the middle of...

This lodge has wonderful food, excellent location and gracious owners who have great knowledge of the wineries and all the places of interest. We arrived in a pouring rainstorm, had some wine from the bar, and stayed for 8 days in March/April 2016 and had a spectacular room on the second floor with two bathrooms and a dressing room with...

This lodge is situated in a luxury residential area. The owner lives in the house next door. Rooms are really great, spacious and full of luxury and very clean. Breakfast is really very good and the service of Eric is always with a smile and genuine interest.

We had one of the suites upstairs. Spacious room and bathroom. Shower no good water pressure. Beds very comfortable. Balcony rather small. Beautiful garden. The breakfast was okay but for a 4 star guesthouse on the marginal side. We are otherwise used in similar guesthouses. It was said that we had to ask for e.g. cold cuts, then these were...

This is the third time we have stayed at Constantia Valley Lodge and Rene and her staff made us feel we were coming home. Our lovely spacious room was so comfortable and the bathroom was thoroughly luxurious. Breakfast is always outstanding, with everything you could want. As far as the location is concerned - for somewhere so peaceful it is...
