Unless you get an amazingly cheap rate, there is better value for money in Seapoint and all of Cape Town...... Pros: - Awesome customer service from the front desk team. Shout out to Nolan - that guy gets customer service right! (amazing customer service from the restaurant staff too) - Location, within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs etc. along main street - Rooms are large Cons: - Dismal housekeeping, toiletries not replaced, tea/coffee not replenished. Had to call for toilet paper one evening and it came the next morning! Had to call for toiletries on numerous occasions. The hotel does not provide shower caps so bring your own! - Break is adequate but not anything close you would expect from a Radisson Blu "Super Breakfast" - The restaurant is really cheap for South Africa prices but the food quality matched those prices :-) - The beds are on the small side - Rooms and bathrooms are definitely in need of a renovation

Hotel's Favorite
I have given this hotel 5 stars and it really is apart from 1 thing. Didn’t want 1 part to downgrade the rating from excellent to very good. From booking the hotel direct online from the UK, the service and correspondence was excellent. We had lots of questions and the hotel responded quickly and informatively. We thought is was good value for money, we booked a superior room for 9 nights, including breakfast. Lear’s get the 1 'moan' out of the way- breakfast. The food was varied, tasty and plentiful, eggs cooked very well. 'Most' of the staff were accommodating . Some staff just seemed to wonder around aimlessly and when we asked for simple things like water, seemed to be disinterested and took ages to action our requests. Most days I had to ask for water. Some days no clean tables were available. The waiting staff worked hard not so sure about the management. We did feed this back to the hotel manager in the lobby on our last day. Our room, we were in room 807. Partial view of the sea and of the mountiain, no balcony. Large bathroom. Plenty of hanging space. Tea and coffee. Fridge. Large tv. Cleaned very well daily. Very quiet. Very happy with our room. Staff - very happy, super helpful in reception, lobby area. Shout out to Norman and Faruz Mia who exceeded expectations and were very helpful. Pool area could do with a bit of a makeover but we didn’t use it. Location was great. Close to Seapoint promenade. Regular shuttle bus back and forth to V&A. 50 min walk to V&A, 10 min shuttle ride. Hire cycles 5 mins walk away and we would cycle to Clifton beaches and Camps Bay. Day trips that we booked would pick up and drop off at the hotel , very handy. Uber very handy too. Because of what we got and how much we paid, we thought this hotel has excellent service, facilities, location & is good value. We would recommend

The friendliness, professionalism and service was excellent and the location is very good. The furniture in the rooms needs to be improved, however the rooms are very spacious. Overall, I will stay at the Radisson Blu Le Vendome Hotel, Sea Point again.

Enjoyed our stay overall. Friendly staff with nice enough amenities. Doesn’t cater for halaal meals, and no scenic views from rooms. No cosy casual lounge/ coffee bar to relax in, only alcohol stocked bar with tables.
