Many thanks to Amanda and Edward for their wellcome. The lodge is very well located in the amazing Bo Kaap District: close to historical center and less than 30 minutes walk from Waterfront. No problem to park the car during the night in front of the lodge, and it is secured. A p

Amanda and Edward welcomed us to Rose Lodge with open arms. A small lodge of three rooms ( we stayed in the garden room) they couldn't do enough to help us. They gave a thorough explanation of the Bo-Kaap area and what we should/shouldn't do. They were informative about the area

Did you feel safe traveling alone and staying here. I may be traveling with a partner or on my own for part of the time. Any safety concerns walking to and back from the waterfront areas, for example
To me cape town province is safe. Do not walk alone in the streets after 7 pm but use taxis. We spent 3 weeks driving in cape town province n it was a marvellous trip

How far is it to walk from Rose Lodge to De Waterkant? And is if safe to walk between Bo-kaap and De Waterkant at night?
I will be in Cape Town and looking for a place like this. However, I will need to have full access to wifi in my room. Is it possible to have good internet access in my room?
Hello, we want to book a room in Rose Lodge via booking. Now we have to choose the room, but we have a few questions. Is there also a room for breakfast in the accommodation in Wale street? In the description of the rooms 'room whit Queensize Bed - Wale Lodge' and 'room whit Queensize Bed - Rose Lodge Upstairs' says the rooms have a patio. But there are no pictures of the patio's. Is it sure that the rooms have a patio? Thank you
Hello, only The Courtyard Room has a patio. There is a patio at Wale St. but it is off the kitchen and can be used by all the guests. Thank you.

I want to stay there with my wife and 4 year old son, and I wish a room with private bathroom. How much would it be from 03 to 06/02/17 (3 nights)?
Good day, Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate you for the dates requested. We hope you find suitable accommodation elsewhere. Kind regards, Bruce
