Firstly, the staff we met, Clark, Ivan and Utah were attentive and efficient in every way. The room we had was excellent, well-equipped and, although facing New Church Street, soundless. The house rambles with internal courts and airy covered areas as well as indoor seating. The breakfast was very good, both buffet and served and the location in the Tamboerskloof...

Very comfortable, centrally placed and with pleasant and obliging staff. Room was a good size and bathroom, small but efficient. Breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were attentive to any request for specific requests.

My husband and I stayed at Tintagel Guesthouse at the end of January/early February - and what a find. We visit Cape Town every couple of years, and love this particular part of Cape Town - the location is excellent. The guesthouse itself was beautiful, very well kept, lovely spacious room, and considering it is on a fairly busy road...

From the moment we arrived, after a very long journey, we felt the arms of welcoming around us! Utah and Ivan should receive outstanding acclaim for customer service, as by the end of our stay we actually felt we were staying with good friends! Stayed in two rooms which were both clean, quiet, beautifully furnished (not an Ikea table in...

Comfortable bed with well equipped room. Centrally located and has parking. Breakfast was excellent. Some traffic noise due to its central location on major road through cape town. We would stay here again.

I stayed at Tintagel the week between Christmas and New Year, so the whole area was hectic and the place was booked. The residence was clean and neat, with an interesting garden and quite a long history of stories. Each morning, breakfast was served. Not just the continental bread and jam you normally get. There was a resident cook who...

A great place to stay close to everything. Uber service was also brilliant and very reasonable. Service was fantastic and breakfast awesome. Utah, the front of house couldn't do enough to assist - a great team servicing the guests. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 7 nights to explore Cape Town (first visit) and really loved it. Great location, free parking, lovely (helpful, friendly and knowledgeable!) staff, fab breakfasts, coffee that powers you through the day, and excellent rooms in the restored house. Views of table mountain as you step out of the door, and a few minutes (safe) walk to lots...

Once in a while you enter a small hotel and everything you see or hear is delightfull. Beds are very good, as is the breakfast. And they are really nice people there too. Give you the advice you need!

Thanks for a lovely overnight stay. We really enjoyed the hospitality and amenities in the guesthouse. It is a beautiful building and the location is spot on for being where all the action is in Cape Town.
