We made our reservation through booking.com for three rooms, but clearly stated that one person would stay one night less that the others. The rooms were very cramped and the bathroom offered no privacy. The internet connection was very sporadic. The person that stayed one night less was charged for an extra night. The receptionist agreed that it was the... More

I guess you get what you pay for. I read the reviews here & on booking.com before I visited the place so I kinda knew what to look out for. Nice & affordable, excellent views even though our room (302) had a view of the pool which I didn't mind. The pool crawler made an irritating noise though when it... More

Rooms are small for a 4 Star appointed Hotel. The shower and toilet area very small and "push" button run, with a glass door providing privacy from the bedroom. The glass door did not close properly so ablutions are a shared experience with your partner. I hate that. Coffee sachets - 2 per room per day. A bit mean. Stairs... More

We stayed as a family (mum, dad and 2 young teenage sons) and had an absolute ball. The Lodge is clean, very central, has wonderful friendly staff and the most amazing views. We were able to walk into town in 10 minutes and to the Waterfront in 25. Really impressed with the price of the Lodge too and particularly commend... More

I would have given the overall review of the hotel 3 instead of 4 if it were not for the staff. I was feeling ill on the day of leaving and the we were allowed to stay in the room until we left for our flight at 4pm without a late check out fee, which left an extremely good impression... More

I have to agree with Rolf_Martina's comment, as we also had room no. 201. In general, the guest house has a nice setup, garden, view and interior design. There are two balconies that may be used by guests, but sadly no real place to sit in the garden. Considering the fact, that the guest house gets points for its view,... More

The hotel looks over the whole of Cape Town from the top of the hill. Short drive to most attractions. Apparently the area surrounding the hotel is not safe at night, so it is recommended to get a taxi. The rooms are modern and comfortable, however, the bathroom is a bit squishy. The staff are extremely helpful (especially Keithland (?)... More

Positive: + Stunning views + Easy drive to most attractions + Nice patios and bar + Modern decor + Very clean + Nice staff Negative: + I would not advise walking around the area, but the hotel itself is safe. + Breakfast is not worth the price, rather something nice and unique in nearby Long street + WiFi is very... Very affordable lodge built up the mountainside. Complicated layout but lifts and ramps where necessary. Smallish room built for efficiencies with good quality furnishings and fittings. Very close to restaurant strip and the V&A waterfront.
