My wife and I absolutely loved this boutique hotel. Its reasonably priced and the service is top notch. Nkosi and Oncemore are very attentive to all a guests needs and greet you with a smile every time you walk in the door. They were extremely helpful with booking our dinners and setting up daily excursions. The breakfasts at the hotel...

If I'd paid more attention, I'd have realised that this is a nice hotel on a very busy main road, and I probably wouldn't have booked it. The hotel itself IS nice, and the staff are very helpful. But we were in a room at the front, and I couldn't open the windows because of the traffic noise. The air...

Very nice and warm hotel in a very good area of Cape Town. The staff are all very friendly and the breakfast is very good! Rooms are very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Cape Town and like to be at the green point area, short walking distance from V&A Waterfront.

Sugar Hotel was the ideal start to our holiday in South Africa. We arrived by rental car, it is really easy to find and they have a small secure parking area right next to reception. But you can then walk safely and happily to the waterfrom area and enjoy the restaurants etc.and my daughter also ran from the hotel out...

Agree with all the positive comments made previously - very helpful staff, great room and decor, and brill breakfasts. Very convenient for the V & A Waterfront and the old city centre. It is not dangerous to walk around Cape Town (maybe don’t rush to Cape Flats area). Would certainly go again to this hotel. I said I would when...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sugar Hotel at the end of October. I can't say enough about it. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and close to the city center and the V&A waterfront. Travelling alone I was a bit afraid of the size of the room. That fear is uncalled for at the Sugar, I had...

My wife and I stayed four wonderful nights at this smaller boutique hotel. The staff was simply excellent! They made us feel very welcome. Fantastic service to all our needs, questions, with great recommendations. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We were up and off enjoying the Cape Town area sights every day. Great location, an excellent base for exploring and...
