There are a number of beautiful little guest houses in CPT. I've stayed in a number of them, and this one is particularly lovely, especially at the great rates that owner Ruth charges. Nice view from our room, and also from a great terrace where you can hang out - if you get tired of hanging out in your perfectly... More

Our stay at Liberty Lodge was fantastic. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated and had its own terrace with an amazing view of Table Mountain. Liberty Lodge is also very well located, and it only took us a few minutes to get to different sites within the city. Ruth is great and chatted with us at breakfast every morning... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Liberty Lodge. Ruth was very flexible in working with us to rebook our stay for a later date when our initial travel plans changed. Each morning we were treated to a wonderful breakfast and Ruth greeted us with helpful suggestions about what we should do each day given our interests. By the end of... More

Ruth, the English owner and South Africanophile, welcomes you with open arms to her gorgeous characterful B & B. And, speaking of breakfasts ..... they're great. Both Ruth and her longstanding & loyal staff immediately make you feel completely at home. The rooms are spotlessly tidy with tea/coffee making bits & bobs on the landing. There's even a fridge undr... More

Booked without knowing and had a great time there. Rooms were great and the rooftop patio was fantastic. Spent a number of evenings there after dinner looking over Cape Town at night. Breakfasts were great and set us up for the day. The location is excellent and close to everywhere. Ruth was a source of great information.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Liberty Lodge overall. The staff treated us very well - Ruth, Lisa and Nita were quite helpful and provided good info about nearby places. The location is ideal and it is a safe, comfortable B&B with a beautiful view of Table Mountain and proximity to several types of restaurants nearby - Thai,... More
