Stayed 3 nights during the beginning of April 2014. Everyone was over the top helpful and polite. Neat, clean and special atmosphere with great view of Table Mountain Only negative was some minor paint pealing. Included breakfast not your normal continental; fresh fruits, freshly made...More
Arrival wasn't too good as we had to sit for 1/2 hour whilst the receptionist explained things to another guest. We weren't offered a drink or anywhere to put our bags, so had to sit down (after a long trip) and wait until receptionist had...More

I believe they started at 7:00 AM but they are so accommodating I am sure something could be worked out if this is not acceptable. This is a wonderful place to stay and very close to great restaurants. It is a little way from the wharf but they will give you a ride there if you want.

Hi! We stayed at Cape Cadogan in March. We DID hear music, but our room was on the second floor in the back corner of the building (Room 8) which has a balcony that opens up toward Kloof Street. It was surprisingly during the week and not on the weekend, and also the type of music I enjoy, so I wasn't really concerned! It also stopped at a relatively reasonable hour. The rooms in the carriage house (11, 12, 14) may be your best bet for assured quiet, but I didn't find the noise to be detrimental to our stay. ENJOY!
