The room was really quirky and cool. There was a bit of noise outside on the street but it didn’t bother us. Fantastic location and they offered free transfers around the city on Uber. We had a lovely friendly welcome especially from Yannic and the breakfast was tasty.
Cape Cadogan was a great place to stay for my first trip to Cape Town. The location was in a safe area and had multiple restaurants and shops close by. The hotel itself was beautiful and reminded me of nice country house. The staff were extremely helpful and met all of my needs. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Cute, small hotel. Very friendly staff who knew us by name. Turn down service. Laundry services. Near good restaurants. Lions head and Tabletop mountain quick Uber away.
We had a great stay at this very nice boutique hotel. The staff were consistently friendly helpful and efficient. The breakfast was superior. The food quality was really good and the servers were so kind and friendly. Overall the location is good with lots of hotels within walking distance along Kloof Street. The staff was also very helpful in providing really good recommendations. The staff also arranges for Uber rides within the area as you need them. This is an older urban infill property so has some quirkiness which added to its charm.
Everything about this hotel was 5 star. From the minute you are greeted at the front door you feel as though your hotel stay is going to be special. And they NEVER disappoint ! My wife and I stayed 5 nights in room 14 which was large, beautifully kept and cared for, filled with morning light and a view of the mountains. It was an absolutely marvelous way to start each day. Breakfast in the garden was relaxing and very tasty. The service by the breakfast dining team was attentive and always presented with a smile and a caring attitude. The hotel provides complementary car service so you always feel safe regardless of how well you know the city. The location makes it very convenient to all of the city adventures as well as trips to the countryside and wine country. The front of house team were extremely helpful in obtaining reservations for restaurants and winery visits. We look forward to heading back next year to continue to explore this beautiful city and country.…
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, we absolutely loved it! Very spacious, quiet, and comfortable! Within walking distance to so many great restaurants and bars. The staff are very attentive and helpful. We came during Covid, and they helped us arrange an onsite covid test. Can't wait to come back!
Cape Cadogan is a beautifully presented hotel that’s perfect for both relaxing at, and using as a base to explore Cape Town via cheap & frequent Ubers. It is a short walk from many great bars, restaurants & other amenities on Kloof Street, and offers a lovely continental breakfast with optional cooked choices, but the real differentiator here is the staff. Every person we encountered throughout our stay were so friendly and attentive, and they all made us feel right at home, which we were so thankful for. We had personalised notes left in our room on a daily basis (welcoming us, congratulating us on our recent wedding, and upcoming weather forecasts), and those little details really added to the overall experience of staying it an already amazing hotel.
Very average stay. Multiple issues and disappointing given the cost of the stay. Very much a case of form over function. Beautiful venue but that is about where it stopped. Service at the level of a 2 or 3 star hotel. Breakfast venue was good but food was about average. Service was disappointing.
We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Cadogan. They were very welcoming, helpful and the room/hotel was gorgeous. The area is a great base for exploring Cape Town, with some mega restaurants right on your door stop. The complimentary ubers nearby were a great help too. Breakfast was good. We recommend highly! Thanks
We stayed here for four nights during our first trip to Cape Town. Wonderful quiet location walking distance to great places on Kloof Street. All the staff was incredibly friendly and wonderfully helpful. Appreciated having breakfast available each morning!
