My family of five, including two teenagers & a six year throughly enjoyed our stay at this friendly & comfortable boutique hotel. The staff were friendly & helpful. The hotel is in a great location in central Cape Town. Over our three week holiday we stayed here a total of six nights. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.
We loved our stay in this very central place. Great room, excellent breakfast, very good service. Parking is good too. Quite safe. Because it is so central there is sometimes a bit of night noise but that's because you are very close to all the action.
A great little find in the heart of downtown Cape Town. The rooms are excellent and the service from the staff is exceptional! We stayed at the Cape Heritage Hotel with three other couples and each couple was impressed with this centrally located Gem. The hotel is home to the oldest producing wine vine planted in 1771 at the same time the building was constructed. The renovations to the hotel are excellent and on par with any other modern hotel. If you are looking for a charming place to stay in Cape Town, We highly recommend this hotel. A specials"shout out" to Hilton for his fantastic service.
We had an incredibly frustrating stay at Cape Heritage Hotel and left halfway through our booking. We had a suspicion all wasn't as it seemed when we checked in late on the first day (as a courtesy, I had notified the hotel that we would arrive late in the evening, despite the check-in desk being open 24 hours) and the staff member who opened the door appeared to be wearing pyjamas and Crocs... Not really 4 stars... We then spent a night without sleep as the noise from the restaurants, street, cafe in the square and what sounded like rubbish bins being moved this way and that kept us up. Seriously, there is no sound-deadening – the old sash windows let in every single little noise. We were even on the quieter of the two streets on which the hotel fronts. After an early-morning walk to clear the fog, we decided to try and have a nap while the city was still quiet. Unfortunately, this proved impossible due to the noisy cleaning staff, who chatted loudly in the corridors, played music on their phones and had what appeared to be their small children joining them (who then proceeded to run up and down the corridors). We chose to check out early and I've requested a refund via booking.com. We'll see if the hotel obliges, which they should considering the poor experience. If you value sleep, DO NOT STAY HERE.…
Awesome Boutique Hotel in heart of Cape Town - incredible family trip with great service and a great vibe in this boutique hotel. Limited number of rooms with complimentary buffet. The hotel is located on a refurbished old building/square and has an excellent atmosphere. Really great!!
My husband stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon. Service and location was excellent and the staff is available around the clock for recommendations and assistance. The room was very clean- quaint but just what we needed for our stay. It’s conveniently located in a little square with restaurants within 2 minute walk which worked out perfectly after one long day of touring Cape Town
At the beginning of our SA/Botsuana/Simbabwe tour we stood 4 nights in the Cape Heritage Hotel. The location is excellent, short walks to Long Street (If one would wish to go there!), Companies garden, Greenmarket, Bo Kaap etc. Also to Waterfront it is less than 30 minutes. The hotel staff and management was very nice, attentive and efficient. The building is a heritage and hosts many businesses like the hotel, eateries, a bar etc at the outside of the premisses but also inside. So, if you have a room facing the yard you will experience chatting people until 11pm. Outside rooms face Bree street, busy and not very quiet. Bring ear plugs. The rooms vary significantly. We had a luxury version and this was large, large bathroom, large (high elevated) bed, etc. This is a heritage building. Some of the appliances matured with grace. So please do not expect that all the installations work to perfection. Breakfast was excellent as well, very nice service. We arrived very early at 6:30am and the team started to serve us almost instantly.…
I stayed at this hotel with my family of 5. The rooms were very spacious and beautifully furnished and decorated with African art. The bathrooms deserve a note for the size and the stunning fittings and furniture. The hotel is in an ideal position, walking distance from Bo-Kaap, the city centre monuments, greenmarket square and an easy reach of the Victoria & Alfred waterfront, Table Mountain and other attractions. Service was impeccable, breakfast delicious and served in the pretty heritage square. I would definitely recommend for a stay in Cape Town.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at this fantastic hotel. The staff were very attentive, polite and super helpful and provided a truly unique experience. The hotel is located on Bree Street which is the up and coming ‘trendy’ spot in Cape Town Centre with numerous bars and restaurants within safe walking distance. The hotel courtyard offers three eating opportunities with a fantastic bar ‘Jerry’s’. Central location and an approx 15 minute walk to the V&A waterfront. Highly recommend.
Older style (not a Radisson!) on one of the best streets in Cape Town....and I know as I used to live there! Great location and one of the warmest welcomes you can get....real family feel. Superb for restaurants, bars and shopping and can walk to most places including the Waterfront although that is some 20-25 mins away it's a very pleasant stroll.
