don't expect it to be five star but for the price it is really brilliant: well located, very friendly helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms. For a short stay it was excellent. Also includes safe off street parking and a view of the mountain from some rooms

Yes, the title is the slogan of this hotel, and it does live by it-a cozy place, but with some imperfections. First, the good things. The handling of the booking was perfect. The staff at the reception are extremely courteous and helpful. The room was clean, quite large and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located in CBD, with...

A very nice, small and cosy hotel that reminded me of my Europe trip. The fact that the hotel has been around for more than 20yrs...I am so amazed at its condition. Super clean and not a sign of any rundown at all, though some of its fixtures like doors and lift are a little antique to me but I...

The hotel is clean, secured and safe it feels like home. I just wish the hotel could also serve supper or equip the rooms with a microwave but all in all we were satisfied with the room, food, service and the staff (parliament hotel teamn) they are friendly and they communicate well with their visitors they also attend or respond...

Although this hotel received good reviews, it was a let down for me. The room was big, the bathroom looked OK, there was a large desk area, etc. But there was some parts that were really dirty, like the inside of the door and the light switches. Also, the elevator made a LOT of noise, both on going up/down and...

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and I found that although the hotel was not exactly modern, it is clean and had everything that was needed. I had to ask for assistance with the shower in my room, and was quickly moved to another room. The new room only had twin single beds and although I assured the...

This great value hotel offers a clean, welcoming base from which to explore the city. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. The area is deceptive - opposite student accommodation and sometimes noisy, it's just a stone's throw from the beautiful historic heart of the city. We didn't feel uncomfortable walking around the...

Great value hotel, conveniently located to many downtown Cape Town sites. Nothing fancy just clean neat rooms, accommodating, friendly staff with free Wi-Fi and breakfasts included. They can arrange shuttle airport pick-up and drop off as well as help with reservations for day trips and restaurant reservations. Good little Italian restaurant next door. Walking distance to Bo Kaap, District Six,...

The room was very clean, and the breakfast is really convenient. The internet is also complimentary and much faster than the wifi at the Westin in Cape Town so that was a nice plus as well. Above all else, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Lots of hotels to choose from but this is conveniently situated, very well run and a great choice if you don't want a really expensive place to stay. We had a lovely, large room above reception (no noise or disruptions) and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, efficient staff. The hotel is close to shops, district six museums,...
