I have had the opportunity to stay at the Brenwin on at least 3 times while on business in Cape Town. It is so conveniently located in the heart of Green Point, with restaurants, a supermarket and the V&A Waterfront all within reach. The rooms are cosy and functional. Just note that the rooms within the main house have wooden... More

Very pleasant guest house with friendly and helpful staff close to the Waterfront and minutes by taxi to the Convention Center. There were five adults in our party and we enjoyed the hearty buffet breakfast and ordered delicious omelettes with the fillings of our choice which were prepared and served rapidly. Great coffee! A call from reception would bring a... More

This is a very pleasant small guest house, old fashioned but clean and cozy. We arrived around 9am, planning to store our luggage here while we go out for sight seeing. The manager was so kind that she allow us to have early check in. She also gave us a lot of tips for nice places to eat around this... More

We stayed several nights there, the location is great, close to the Waterfront and Stadium, but still relatively quiet. The rooms were nice and comfortable, breakfast excellent. The staff was very nice and helpful. Many different restaurants, bars and cafes in direct neighborhood, we would definitely come back.

Only 15 minutes walk from the water front you will find this small gust house, where you can relax after visiting the many sights to see in Cape Town. The style is old fashoned but cozy, especially the breakfast terrace and the pool area.

Stayed for one night on a business trip. It perfectly located - close to the City and even closer to the V&A waterfront and green point stadium. Good restaurants in the area - all within a few hundred metres. Room was away from the rest of the house - so had a sense real sense of privacy. Management were very... More

Positive: Great location (walking distance to V&A waterfront and city), friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, pool with loungers, sitting area (inside and outside), staff helpful with trip planning, finding place to park in the street was never an issue, woolworth food market and restaurants within 3 min walking distance Negative: Quite a few stairs on the property

A nice place to stay with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was great and weather permitting there's a outdoor balcony to enjoy breakfast with the South African sunshine. The Brenwin is within about a 10-15 minute walk of the V&A Waterfront and has several places to eat and a small Woolworths at the bottom of the road. The only downside about... More

Location is perfect, just down the road, cross the street, and you are at the Waterfront. Many very good restaurants or try the Hudson Grill just down the road for a burger and a beer. We walked home in the evenings (from Waterfront) and it felt secure, taxis are cheap if you prefer that. Very nice staff, always smiling, helped... More
