Too many hotels are rated or rate themselves as 5-star establishments, but don't live up to it. The Cape Grace is a true 5-star property. I say this, being a rather jaded traveler who has stayed at top luxury properties in Europe, Asia, and the USA. This is a superb hotel, with incredible service, in an ideal location, with views...

Having chosen to stay at Cape Grace during our first to Cape Town I cannot think we would ever need to consider staying anywhere else on future visits. From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay, the level of service was exceptional from every member of staff we engaged with. The hotel is beautifully decorated with many unique and...

When we arrived, there was a bottle of Sparkling wine waiting for us in the room for our honeymoon! Food for room service was great, however, what set them apart was the service of all the staff on premise. They'd always say welcome home and they really did make us feel like we are home. Concierge was very attentive, managed...

When you come back at the end of the day, everyone says, "welcome home," and it feels that way. Mention that someone is having a birthday and sparkling wine appears at breakfast and in the room. The rooms are large, and even the mere luxury rooms that look at the waterfront (instead of Table Mountain) are wonderful. Right down on...

We have stayed here a number of times over the past 10 years and have yet to be disappointed. We have stayed at the Mount Nelson and the Table bay but keep coming back to the Cape Grace. Why ? Because it has a warmth about it which the other hotels do not. WE WILL Be BACK !

My wife and I stayed at the Cape Grace for three nights in April and two nights in May as bookends to a trip to Namibia (the hotel kindly stored a suitcase for us in our absence). We had rooms overlooking the marina, with a view of Table Mountain, which were very comfortable and spacious, with a good bathroom, shower...

After many days on safari in the bush, we welcomed the luxury and pampering the Cape Grace provided. It is in agreat location for walking the V&A waterfront. The marina views let you enjoy breakfast with the seals.

Knowing this hotel since 2008, it has always always a pleasure returning for a complete Waterfront break. Excellent personnel, well trained. Warm ambiance. The Signal is one of the real go-to restaurants in Cape Town. Great destination, then? Well, if one just spends the money on an average room for the money, with cold (blue-white) atmosphere, without room decoration (apparently...

We recently visited the Cape Grace with our Gran. She was blown away by her stay. The hotel staff went out of their way to assist her and to ensure she was comfortable and well looked after. She was escorted back by the concierge after taking a walk to the Aquarium. They brought a fresh fruit platter to snack on...

This hotel is everything and more, right in the heart of the waterfront so you are always safe walking around, don't even have to worry about traffic. The concierge staff are exceptional, went far and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were well looked after at all times. I have stayed in Cape Town about 9 times...
