Satisfied with hotel infrastructure but service at dinner was unacceptable slow. There is a lack of team work amongst waiters and poor customer service. I think there is room for improvement but as a businessman to me this was a red flag on management of the restaurant and upholding Tsogosun norms and standards. Here is my advice ' treat every...

Part of a group of 32 people on a three week South African tour spending the last three nights in Cape Town at this hotel. Food waiting times are somewhat long. 1830 start meal, two hours later you might get second course. Also food was cold Breakfast is a little bit better since its self service but there seemed a...

This is a beautiful hotel, and very well situated close proximity to all attractions. Table mountain less than 2km away. V & A less than 5 min drive. Staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast is really good, and chef's are very accommodating. We dont eat Beef and Pork. Chef Freeman and Cindy went out their way to make us something chicken....

I regularly stay in City LodgeHotel when on business in Cape Town. It is outstanding in quality and value. On my last trip City Lodge was full so Sunsquare was a possibility. It was the first and last time. Awful in all respects. The room was grubby and looked as though it need a good facelift. The beds were uncomfortable....

Spent the night. Standard rooms were spacious. Beds, pillow and duvet were comfortable. Bathroom had shower, bath and all amenities. Strong Airconditioners for the hot day. The staff at Reception, restaurant and bar area were super friendly, professional and efficient. Well priced hotel, centrally located and restaurants and waterfront are just around the corner. I'll be back.

At first we wondered if we had chosen the right hotel as it seemed to be a bit from the centre. Shouldn't have worried. Everything is on the doorstep including a very good small shopping mall. Open top bus passes nearby. Company's Garden is within easy walking distance. Room clean, reasonable size for a city hotel. View from bed of...

The Hotel is competitive. The property is situated in a strategic area in Cape Town. One can sense a good degree of security; the venue has access to most tourist and conference activities and facilities; shops are also in close proximity. The building looked to be well maintained and clean.

Hotel good value , staff efficient and friendly , however the location necessitates an efficient taxi service which regrettably is not provided The pool should perhaps be more pleasing to the eye and better attended for cleansing, the small fitness is adequate

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, friendly staff (not just one or two) but all of them, very clean, good hearty breakfasts to set you up for the day and a good grill / restaurant if required in the evenings, will definitely be going back there and would recommend to friends, we were told by friends not to be put off...
