A fine boutique hotel, situated along the Atlantic Seaboard, in Sea Point, Cape Town. The hotel is housed in a Cape-Victorian style, heritage building. An extensive renovation in 2010 has transformed the original structure into a super trendy place with a distinct international flair. Our guest will immediately recognize the spot as a trendsetter, definitely on par with leading small design hotels sprinkled around the larger cities of the world. The seven Deluxe rooms are very "complete", five of them with outside balconies, each with comfortable seating arrangements. All rooms have King size (180 cm) beds. Air conditioning (heating/cooling). Walk-in rain showers, wall-mounted hairdryers and heated towel rails. Room amenities include a 40" (1m) LED TV screen, a 23" Apple Mac computer with free internet and Apple TV streaming service (Netflix, YouTube), Bose iPod docking station, Telephone, International plugs, Electronic Safe, Mini Bar and a Nespresso machine.

My wife and I have just left the Hotel on the Promenade for the 3rd time and I hate leaving more and more. We had a week in Cape Town and 7 days at the hotel. The room we had is one of the trendiest and ideal rooms you could ever hope for and the meals are just to die for . From the fantastic breakfasts to the AMAZING dinners. Luc and Els thanks for everything again .. my business partner is over from the UK next week and can’t wait to stay at your hotel as I have praised it that much to him and his wife. Thanks for everything and see you again in March

We went to promenade hotel for breakfast and no social distancing was implemented. When we asked proprietors to do so they became abusive , swore at us and kicked us out of their bistro. I’m still in shock with their behaviour and attitude .

Went for breakfast today. No social distancing as tables were packed right next to each other. We asked 2 patrons to move seats very politely as Covid protocols were not adhered to. Owner started screaming, kicked a guy out who said he was from Sunday Times. Started shouting and called him an a...hole. Kicked us out too and still had to pay the bill. Will tell everyone never to go there again.

This gem of a boutique hotel is in a perfect location in Sea Point, a stones throw from the Atlantic Seaboard. Rooms are elegant with high tech facilities, generous beds and beautiful bathrooms with all amenities. Second floor rooms have furnished terraces overlooking the sea. A big additional benefit is The Bistro on the veranda. A buzzing, welcoming place with a large choice of fabolous breakfasts from the freshly baked croissants to the yogurt,müsli and fruit sallad and the freshly squeezed juices. The personnel is very helpful and friendly and will do their outmost to make you feel at home. We were met by good-natured easy friendliness by owners Els and Luc, who look after all their guests with pleasant charm and flair.
