Do not stay in this hotel if you can, especially when you are business traveller. I had serious issue with the hotel laundry service, which was handled by its appointed 3rd party laundry company. My new pant was discoloured massively after so called dry cleaning treatment. The hotel front office and house keeping staffs have verified the poor treatment. However, the arrogant duty manager insisted everything was correct, despite the pant has lost its origin color significantly. Every normal person, who is familiar with laundry would recognise the pant has been treated in a rough washing condition; incl. improper ironing. However, the duty manager insisted nothing was wrong based on camera footage, instead of looking at the outcome of the laundry results. He defended his position, was afraid of paying any compensation. The worst part was, prior the rejection, hotel staffs have been asking what would be the value of compensation. The next day, everything changed. So much to attitude, character and integrity of the management.…
Good quality hotel and friendly staff. One of my favourites to stay in Cape Town CBD. Lovely breakfast Dinner not too nice Beautiful views Good overall experience But noisy outside environment for a business traveller.
Communication with the staff prior to arrival was simple and we had a warm welcome upon arrival. We had requested a mountain view room and informed the staff about celebrating our anniversary. We checked in and were surprised by a congratulatory cake and champange! We immediately saw the city lights below and table mountain through our window! The room was spacious and comfortable. We had managed to get good nights rest during our stay. The staff were helpful in giving recommendations and tips for things to look out for during our stay here. The location is great as it is near multiple cafes, attractions the Red bus station and walking tours. The shuttle service was prompt and useful to bring us to and from Camps Bay and the V&A Waterfront. My only negative feedback is on the staff attitude towards the issues faced during our stay. We had faced issues with room card and some amenities were not present (ie, Hair dryer and toiletries). The staff did not assist us but accused us of not trying to look for the items or not knowing how to operate a key card. It would have been much more pleasant if the staff assisted us promptly without us going through a round of being talked down to condescendingly. Other than that, our stay at the Pepperclub Hotel was most pleasant!…
Such a beautiful hotel. Amazing views, spacious room. Attention to detail is evident. Friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located, easy access to and from the Waterfront. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent personal service. Excellent location in city centre. Always choose the side of the hotel that is away from the noisy Long Street otherwise you'll have difficulty sleeping from the noise of the night life down below.
Lovely room with balcony although unfortunately no chairs to sit on! Superb view over Cape Town - very noisy all night if facing street with all the bars and restaurants Good selection at breakfast and dinner was tasty. Staff at restaurant / bar and at reception
Overall experience was very successful. They were very supportive at reception. Managing some restaurant reservations for us in advance just in case. The room was very big and confortable and the area was very nice to walk to restaurants and visit the city.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff is professional and service readily available. The welcome at reception was amazing. The only unsatisfactory aspect was the confusing usage of the lift, whereby one has to travel to the eighth floor in order to access the sixth and seventh floor, this aspect caused a lot of confusion and made the trip to one's room feel very long. This matter has to be structurally attended to for ease of access.
Amazing, great location nice service , a liitle bit of noise on friday and saturday, because of long street bar, but was fine. The staff are very simpatic, and the restaurant service and food is amazing
Communication with the staff prior to arrival was easy and quick. We had requested a mountain view room, if possible and did they deliver!!!!!! Walking in late at night, we immediately saw the city lights below and the shadow of the mountain in the background, WOW! We had a wrap around balcony suite, and it was superb! We chose the breakfast included, and that is the way to go, especially if you are running every day to go on different tours. Even the ala carte items were served quickly, everything was fresh and delicious. Staff is wonderful and helpful. You are only a few blocks away from picking up your Red Tour bus, which takes you to other day tours leaving from the V&A waterfront. The hotel also offers airport pick up for a nominal fee, and shuttles to the V&A Waterfront. My only suggestion is to add hourly shuttles in the evening hours. We stayed 6 nights and loved every minute of it. Highly recommend! …
