We took the Rovos Rail to Cape town, the train was delayed and we were pretty exchausted from the trip. Hotel driver came to pick us up and that was it, truly excellence after that! Bathroom to die for and the breakfast OMG!

The room was nice - quite spacious for two people. And this was one of the softest mattress that I have enjoyed in a hotel. The bathtub was large and one could actually stretch out and relax in it. My room overlooked the Table Mountain, one of the new natural wonders of the world. It was fascinating to watch the...

Simply the best hotel in the city. The location in downtown Cape Town on a pedestrian zone is great - you easily walk around, a lot of entrtainment around. You walk to the Long street - the best night life in the city where locals come. Taj has a lovely breakfast restaurant with a wide choice of food. You can...

Immaculate rooms. Perfect service. Fantastic food. Everything an American traveler should look for they have at the TAJ. The cost is worth it for the safety and professionalism of the entire staff. The complimentary shuttle down to the waterfront and access to the Green Market Square and shopping/dining district on Long Street are additional bonuses.

Top class hotel, staff were so helpful and the restaurant was fantastic. I would love to come and stay here again. Excellent location, especially for the food markets on a Thursday afternoon! Yum!! Our room wasn't ready for ages after we got there, which was disappointing.

Stayed 4 nights last week. Impeccable service from start to finish. Bedroom was perfectly appointed with a very comfortable King bed and a very large bathroom with rainfall shower. Breakfast was excellent and the food from the Bombay Brasserie was very tasty.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable with big bathrooms and views out to Table Mountain. One of the best things were the breakfasts served in a very bright light room with access to the outside pedestrian zone. Staff are very helpful and friendly and always available.
