Upperbloem Guesthouse & Apartments is an oasis in the city - quiet with a large saltwater pool & pooldeck, and garden to relax. We are only 5 -10 minutes walk away from the city centre, Greenmarket Square, Longstreet, many cafes and Restaurants, and shops. It is a 10minutes drive to the beautiful Camps Bay and Clifton beaches. Guests have free Wifi, secure street parking. The owner, Katrin, the room, the cleanliness were all very good. The view of the mountain is very nice. Just the area is problem. Not save to walk around, especially when it is dark. I the price is good value for money.

Excellent location, very beautiful view from apartment, close to table mountain, host ist very helpful and arranged everything including late check-in, late check-out as well as advice on restaurants etc. we'd always choose it again

Kathrin kümmert sich hervorragend um ihre Gäste und ist eigentlich jederzeit für sie zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es gibt mind. eins, welches einen traumhaften Blick über Kapstadt und auf den Tafelberg bietet. In der Straße kann man seinen Mietwagen parken. Nachts gibt es auch eine Art Security. Die Lage fand ich auch gut. Fussläufig ist z. B. das Bo-Kaap Viertel zu erreichen.

J'ai été très bien reçu par Katrin qui avait organisé mon transfert depuis l'aéroport et a eu la gentillesse de mettre quelques bières et de l'eau dans le frigo à mon arrivée.
L'appartement était confortable et bien situé à une distance très raisonnable de la fameuse Long Street. Attention, la maison se situe sur les hauteurs... A pied, il faut donc du souffle pour remonter.

Ideal place to stay if you want to be central, with lovely views of the mountain and just a short walk into the city. Very warm welcome and very comfortable accommodation. Even the weather was kind to us.

レビューを読んでApartment Balcony City/Mountain Viewsの部屋が一番景色が良いとの事で、この部屋を選択しました。部屋のテラスからはテーブルマウンテンと海、そして中心部の高層ビルが見渡せ、最高の景色でした。一番のポイントはここの女性オーナーのKatrinさんです。Uberタクシーの手配もしてくれますし、南ア仕様の変換プラグが無くて困って相談したら、親切に貸してくれました。また、ウェルカムドリンクとしてワインのボトルも一本チェックインの時にプレゼントしてくれました。朝食用にマフィンやシリアル各種が置いてあります。冷蔵庫にも事前にジュースや牛乳、ミネラルウォーターが常備してありました。
一点の難点と言えば、徒歩圏内にスーパーやちょっとした日常雑貨を購入できる店が見当たらない事。また、夜はあまり治安が良くないそうで、必ずタクシーの利用を勧められます。Uberタクシーは安全で安い上にドライバーの質も高いので、安心して利用ができます。2017年4月の時点でパブやレストランが集まるLong Streetまで片道20ランド（約160円）でした。事前にスマホにアプリをダウンロードしておくと便利です。
初めてのケープタウンでしたが、Katrinさんのお蔭で居心地よく滞在ができました。是非また次回ケープタウンに戻る時にはまた泊まりたいです。

I had a beautifully furnished room with excellent views from a superb balcony, well stocked kitchenette and very clean bathroom. Upperbloem is in a great location, very calm and quiet and above the bustle of downtown Cape Town, which is within walking distance (it is a steep climb back up to the hotel).

The room was tastefully decorated and the balcony had a beautiful view of the city and waterfront. The pool was very nice as well. The location in Bo-Kaap was safe and close to the waterfront and the restaurant/shopping area. Can't beat the service. Katrin was very friendly and always ready to assist, yet she gave lots of privacy to her guests. We stayed at Upperbloem when we arrived in Capetown and returned to Upperbloem again when it was time to return home. A great place to stay.

Super gelegen, etwas erhöht in einer stillen Oase mit grandiosem Ausblick auf die Stadt. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von dort aus gut zu erreichen!

Wir blieben für anderthalb Tage zu Gast bei Katrin. Ihre Apartments sind klein, aber fein. Das Upperbloem ist zu Fuß eine Viertelstunde von der Long Street und eine gute halbe Stunde von der V&A Waterfront entfernt. Katrin war sehr zuvorkommend und half uns mit unseren Problemen und Fragen. Im Pool hinter dem Haus konnte man sich erfrischen und in der Sonne liegen. Als Basis für Gäste, die die Unterkunft als Basis für einen Stadturlaub nutzen wollen, ist sie sehr gut geeinget.

Early Check in is possible, but subject to availability. You can always come here straight from the airport, drop your luggage, have a coffee by the pool and a swim or a shower and relax or go sightseeing. We will have your apartment ready for you as early as possible, latest by 12.
