I have been a world traveller, visited Africa from North to South from West to East, visited 5 continents and still have never had a better experience in a hotel than the one I had in this Luxury Boutique guest house. Starting by the three amazing owners, three nice and sweet to the point Afrikaner ladies, that give an amazing... More

We stayed 6 nights in Nov 2009 at Bishopsgrace and were overwhelmed by the luxurious setting. The view, the garden and especially the rooms are wonderful and have great design. Also service and the breakfast are excellent but what really makes this place special is the warm and friendly atmosphere of staff and owners. We also enjoyed using the tennis... More

I sincerely wish we had had more time at Bishopsgrace. A week there would have been about right rather than the 36 hours we spent. Bishopsgrace is a large mid 20th century house sitting in extensive and beautifully arranged grounds within a 10 minute drive of central Cape Town and on the foothills of Table mountain. In an area of... More

Staying at Bishopsgrace was an absolutely perfect experience. The house and gardens are absolutely stunning. The former private house was converted to a B&B by the owners, one of whom is an interior designer and every square inch is decorated with exquisite taste, lush fabrics and special touches. Breakfast is served by a gracious and attentive staff. The owners live... More

We were here for 4 nights and can thoroughly recommend it. The house is in one of the exclusive parts of cape town, about 10 to 15 minutes drive from the waterfront. There are 6 rooms and the house is beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. The manager and the owner's daughter were very helpful and friendly and the staff very... More

Bishopsgrace is a little piece of heaven. Both the interior décor and the exterior mountain scenery are exquisite. The staff is courteous, kind and happy and made me feel like I had truly landed in the lap of luxury (which I had). I really enjoyed the delicious gourmet breakfasts and was spoilt by staff offering me refreshments all day long.... More

I stayed at Bishopsgrace in October 2006, and was so very impressed. Bishopsgrace is in a very lovely part of Cape Town and quite central for the beaches, shopping and wine country. The setting is located up against Table Mountain with gorgeous views, 2 heated swimming pools and a tennis court. The gardens were beautiful and the exceptional interior décor... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in total. Bishopsgrace was recently a private residence but has been converted into a guest house that is transformed to world class standard due to the service of it's management and staff. All manner of adjectives cannot desribe just how relaxing and effortless staying here is. The size (6 rooms) allows Bishopsgrace to offer... More
