We used ko-ka Tsara as a midway stop between Johannesburg and Cape Town. Beautiful setting, friendly staff comfortable clean accommodation. We ordered a braai pack and braai sandwiches which were both presented beautifully and tasted delicious. Braai wood fire lighters all ready and waiting for us. And the cutest dog!

We had a wonderful stay at Ko-ka Tsara again as many times before. The Braai packs where wonderfully prepared and the sleep with the bushveld around us amazing. We will definitely stay over here again in future.

We thoroughly enjoyed. The staff are great a lot of times going out of their way to help us. Took a walk to a nearby dam, nice views - carry your fishing equipment for a fresh fish barbacue or braai back at camp. Good facilities for it. Rooms good only need a small sunlight screening for that extra darkness in...

Only stayed 2 nights but would have loved to have stayed much longer. The chalet was comfortable and had everything you needed. No shops anywhere near but no worries the food available to purchase was homemade and top quality. Gail was super helpful too!

We just love Ko Ka Tsara. The chalets are neat, clean and can sleep 4 people. The lawns and trees with tortoises, monkeys and impala seems like an oases. Early in the morning we had to be careful not to scare away the impala grazing about 10 meters from our chalet door. It was so special. One morning we even...

A hidden gem in the Karoo! Peaceful and quite surrounded by nature. The cottages are spacious and can sleep 4 people. Mini kitchenette with a bathroom (shower). More than enough space for braai outside and there is a massive lawn. There is also a swimming pool and lapa where you can relax. They offer game drives aswell although we were...

This is a lovely bush camp in the Karoo with accommodation in A-frame chalets that are well equipped for self catering. There is plenty of bird life, many tortoises wandering around, small buck and monkeys that mean you need to watch the door when open! Whilst the chalets looked nice and well maintained, the kitchen equipment left something to be...

Ko Ka Tsara is a paradise of lush green gardens, tranquility and relaxation after a long days driving to Cape Town. The thatched chalets are beautifully furnished and well equipped. An evening around the fire listening to the sounds of the animals reminds me of a true African safari experience. I will be back to spend a few days there...

A real gem in the middle of nowhere, love the clear starry nights of the Karoo. Excellent accommodation, hospitality and location. Great walking, could have stayed an extra night but fully booked. Will definitely stay over again, hopefully for longer next time.
