This was the perfect stay-over on route. Neat, clean and friendly. We did a great walking trail to get the legs moving! Just beware of the thorns on the lawn, heaps of them. The boys punctured their rugby ball!! So keep the shoes on! Loved Koka-Tsara!! Thank you! We will come visit again.

Perfect stop between JNB and CT. Left time for leisurely drink then lovely homecooked pre ordered dinner.Lovely end to a family holiday. Could easily have stayed for 2 nights if time permitted. Friendly hosts and loved the concept of an honesty bar.

Ko-Ka was a very pleasant surprise. Only 10km from the main road just before Beaufort West. We found Ko-Ka on the internet while driving down to Cape Town and wanted to stop for the night. We arrived in the dark. Braai packs and salad was waiting for us with firewood just outside our cottage. The accomodation is fantastic and they... More

We stopped for a night at Ko-Ka Tsara Bush camp on our return from Jhb. It's a 20min drive off the N1 but well worth the small detour. It was magical. The chalet was clean and had everything you need. We pre ordered a braai pack whI have was value for money and ready in our room on arrival. After... More

We stayed over for one night on our way to northern cape and namibia. What a lovely place, a great reception by Gail and Sam the retriever! Neat and tidy chalets that have everything you need. Loved the electric blanket on a cold winters evening. Would definately visit again.

The chalets are very comfortable and beautifully appointed. Very attractive construction in traditional African style. The kitchen is well supplied with all you might need and the location in front off a large grassed area is great for brai and relaxation. Listen to the impala at night chasing each other in the dark close to your chalet. Would recommend to... More

Lovely stay, great bedding and a place we will easily visit again. Sam, the dog was a great host. Had a lovely braai and enjoy the quietness of nature. Saw a few animals on our route in and out. Our visit was just to short.....

This bushcamp is just 7 km off the main N1 highway and is the perfect alternative place to stay when travelling through the Karoo, both as a holiday destination or halfway stop. Avoid the hotels in the Beaufort West town and stay here! The A-Frame cottages can sleep up to four people and are comfortably furnished, have quality clean linen... More
