Morokolo Lodge was a really really great place to stay, the staff were easy-going and made us feel very welcome. We had 5 people stay in two rooms. The food was outstanding, and the common areas/bar were really accessible. Jacqui was so kind and helped out with anything that needed attention, and Riaan was a walking encyclopedia when it came...

Our stay has been fantastic despite the very bad weather conditions responsible for cancelling one of the safari tours. We have been so Lucky to Watch 3 cheetas capturing 2 Wilderbeests (?) and the day after 12 wild dogs huntings in group which both are very seldom to see.

I was lucky enough to spend 3 wonderful days at Morokolo Lodge. It will be a trip that I will remember for many years to come. Our hosts Jacqui and Riaan went out of their way to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Jacqui was a charming hostess and everything ran like clockwork regarding food and accommodation while Riaan...

What a kind review, thank you we really appreciate it! Definitely recommend doing a walking safari for a whole different perspective on nature, from the sounds and sights to the smells! These finer details of the bush that are harder to find on the vehicle safaris.

We arrived on the 25th December for a one night stay, the food was excellent as was the service. Nice large private accommodation, with outdoor shower, separate bathroom with shower bath, his and her sinks. Game drives were good, saw a lot of animals. Weather was not great so cannot comment on the pool or hot tub. Recommended!

A wonderful place to visit, very African construction with thatched bomas, superb high end bathrooms and best quality linen. The swimming pool was very welcome in the heat. The staff were superb, and look after you thoroughly but discreetly, with old South African integrity. The game drives are well organised. The adjoining restaurant 2 minutes away was especially appreciated. A...

The service was amazing...Robert is wonderful and a true gem. Rooms were of terrible quality....loose taps. paint from floor was coming off and stained everything. Kettle broken. Very old rug and chairs.chipped cupboards and certainly not 5* or worth R5000 a night. The rhino reserve itself is badly managed and over grazed....not what we hoped to see as conservationists after...

We are humbled by this review and are taking steps to rectify the items noted. Some great changes coming soon! It is worth noting that we don't advertise as a 5 star lodge since we have not been graded by the tourism grading council. The various booking websites give their own "star rating" based on their own criteria and not...

What an absolutely awesome stay. The friendly staff, the rooms and service...everything was just great. Our guide Robert's knowledge about all fauna and flora was quite astounding...from bugs to birds to trees to giraffes. We've been going to the bush all our lives and still learnt new and interesting things from him. Also the fact that we saw the big...

Wow! what a fabulous place to stay. Great location in a private game reserve with access to Pilanesberg National Park. The highlight was without doubt the early morning game drives. Was worth getting up at 4am for! We had the best guide as well, Humba, who was very knowledgeable and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We saw everything...

We had a nice stay. The staff were very gracious and the accommodations quite comfortable. We had two boys, 9 and 12, and it worked really well for them. The guide went out of his way to show us wild dogs. We took a bush walk, which was the highlight of the trip.
