Descent accommodation, I arrived at 22h30 (13-14 June) and was given warm dinner (complement to the staff especially the cook). I was able to rest and prepare for the next day. The room was spacious, staff was friendly and the heater was in working condition as it was very cold. I did not feel that I was away from home.... More

Chose the hotel because there were no real alternatives in the town. Average, but not bad. Nothing much to say more. Food was ok, not great. Situated in a dangerous area. There are shops nearby, but it might not be a too good idea leaving the hotel after hours.

Stayed a night with my husband on the 2nd floor. The hotel is very much Protea style, which is nice. It has a lift, cool if you have to haul down a lot of luggage. We paid just over R1600, excl. breakfast, for a night. We ordered the sunrise continental breakfast for R155 (the menu says R125), honestly for that... More

I found the hotel to be average at most. It could do with an overhaul. the room I was in was okay I suppose. The food no so great served oily dried and bland food all day long. The service was not great at all. The only possible reason I would go back is because we had no other choice.... More

A very well looked after hotel, the gardens are well looked after and the property is amazing. The lobby is nice, open and welcoming. The rooms are average sized, with great decor. The linen is good which helps with a good nights sleep. The rooms are clean and fresh. Secure parking available. Located just off the main road.

The hotel staff is Friendly and welcoming also approachable. The facilities are just not at the level of other Protea hotels. Conference rooms, I liked them however the dining area.. The tables looks old, yet the price says something else.
