Great hotel with fabulous food. The decor was fitting for this building and lovely photos from a bygone era adorned the walls. Rooms were spacious with lovely balconies overlooking peaceful gardens. very friendly and helpful staff. It was difficult to locate with the 1 way street system but secure parking was available. Overall a great experience . returning in august.

We did not stay at the hotel, but had a lovely supper at Rhodes Grill - this was fine dining as we stepped back in history. Getting the wine we wanted was a challenge as some were out of stock - the waitress was pleasant but needed training. Isaac, who has been there forever, was so interesting to talk to... More

Terrible food, most items on the menu not available,(I eventually went down the list to see what WAS available) dessert was a joke. Incorrect billing at the hotel, wanted to charge me more than what was initially paid for. Noisy air con. TV Channels not working

Lots of history, the food is above average and the staff are wonderful. They are friendly and made me feel at home. It's centrally situated so is within walking distance of places like the University campus, churches, museums and the old Town hall from where you can catch a tram to the Big Hole. Some rooms do not have a... More

Take a trip back in history at this lovely hotel with its old world charm. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. The bar was nice and cosy for pre-dinner drinks. Food was of a good standard. A good basis to explore the sights of Kimberley and surrounds.

I would not recommend this hotel to young professional smokers. The atmosphere was great and the food top class. The service on reception was great. We love the old charm of the hotel. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good and breakfast was excellent. Room was rather small, certainly the bathroom. But we would still go back there.

We spent a very pleasant Saturday night here early in December. The rooms are comfortable with good air-conditioning which you need in the heat of the Northern Cape in December. We stayed at the Kimberley Club in February and absolutely loved it. The rooms were excellent, the staff was extremely friendly. The history of the location is essential to understanding the town as well, especially the diamond industry and the history of the Northern Cape. So happy with this choice.
