Wonderful owners, who host cook and manage this gem of a bnb, located within a few minutes walk of St Lucia town. Tropical gardens, a cascading stream and a well stocked Koi pond certainly relaxed us after a long journey. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and breakfast on the terrace was a treat. Lourens, Zoe and Elphia are gracious hosts and apart from their honesty bar, we also enjoyed a takeaway dinner in our rooms. This lodge is well run and little touches like these set it apart from the highly competitive market. Recommended.

I was very impressed with this place. The rooms were good but not great. The shower was beautiful and the entire outside and seating area was insanely gorgeous. They obviously put alot of work into their landscape. It's nice being able to leave the compound at night and see grazing hippos right outside. Great place and very beautiful. The food was extremely good. I was very impressed and delighted. The honesty bar was great as well. We had a few drinks after dinner around the fish pond. I will definitely return on my next visit to st Lucia.

We stayed in Umlilo lodge in December for 4 nights and extremely enjoyed it. We lived in the middle of the jungle 😂 there are bushes all around the guest house and it’s beautiful! Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We still remember an amazing dinner that we had there, it was delicious. The rooms are simple, but clean and well maintained. I highly recommend to anyone who is visiting St Lucia.

We had 3 nights in this lovely Lodge. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and good. The evening meals were plentiful and delicious. The pool was just perfect after a hot days safari. Our hosts and staff were so helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time.
