Went to the lodge the week before Christmas and stayed in a 6 sleeper. Good value for money, it's clean and spacious.. With amazing views.. No free wifi and signal is poor. You need to pay for wifi at reception. Most facilities are free at the lodge.. 3 swimming pools but carry your own towels because pool towels are charged...

Nice rooms & bathrooms. Lounge a bit old but resort busy with upgrades. Nice facilities. Pools, tennis courts, squash, games room. Lots of potholes on the way to Crystal Springs. Enjoyed the steam room, jacuzzi, sauna. Value for money.

Tons to keep you busy at Crystal Springs and it's surroundings. The Chalets are clean and well kept. They offer a game drive, which is very informative and worth experiencing. Saw zebras and other animals walking past the chalets in the evenings. Definitely enjoyed the stay.

Stayed in the Chalets close to the deep ravine. Really quiet and relaxing, great to read a book and watch the animals grazing. The private reserve is on the same property and great for a drive around to see different antelope species - do not attempt this without a 4x4 vehicle, the road is very bad and you will damage...

Needs an upgrade in my opinion and no longer a timeshare gold crown as far as I am concerned. Draw back is that for most units you need to drive to get to reception and restaurant area. Units are ok but small for a gold crown resort and could do with an upgrade. Beds are however comfortable.

We arrived here on Friday 29/12. Check in was busy and the room was not ready. Had to wait almost an hour. Nevertheless once settled was relaxing and peaceful. Remember to plan your day properly else time just goes especially if you going out of the resort

4 days at the lodge with my family and that was like torture. This must be the most overated lodge in South Africa . The kids were totally bored. And frankly so was I .The tiny spa is terrible. And the pool facilities... Small and filthy. Honestly a waste of money. Never again.
