Before we selected The Palms in Nelspruit as our base to visit the Kruger Park we wrote to several guest houses, and the owners of The Palms entered into a detailed correspondence with us and showed great consideration for our special needs. We were travelling with three elderly parents who have limited mobility, and the owners reassured us about booking... More

We booked this guest house for a quick stopover in Nelspruit and were extremely happy with our choice. Comfortable rooms, warm welcome and a lovely breakfast. There is a terrace on the side of the house providing a smoking area and views of the garden. The price was very reasonable and will definitely be back!

Found this place on TripAdvisor to have a short stay on our trip back home to Vilanculos. The owners are very warm and friendly and the garden and view are great. At breakfast which was included Sue got me tea with honey because i was suffering from the flu. Thanks. So far all well. On the other side, the room... More

We arrived at the palms to a lovely greeting by gracious host, Sue. The rooms were lovely and warm. The pool area was beautiful, and the neighborhood was quiet and easy to locate. Wifi was great, as was the lounge area and lobby. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next morning and had a nice chat with the owners, who... More

This B&B is a brilliant place to stay. Sue (owner) gave us the best greeting we've ever had to an accommodation. She was very helpful and gave us great dinner tips. The rooms are very nice, the lounge is great, beautiful garden, free wifi, huge breakfast, and very reasonably priced on top of that. Highly recommended to everyone.

It doesn't surprise me this B&B we stayed for 3 days is 100% ranked! It couldn't be better! The owner came pick us up on the way to the b&b because we couldn't find it. The service is exceptional, I admire the way the owners treat their guest with so much energy and willingness. The room is very nice and... More

Owners are very friendly and hospitable. Room (family size) was large. Breakfast cooked to order was excellent, with options including eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, and mushrooms, yogurt, toast, cereal, cheese, juice, and coffee. Nice garden and pool. Location is nice but far away from any shops or restaurants. Honesty bar available at reasonable prices. Laundry for around 50 rand per... More

Our son suggested we stay here on our way to Kruger and we stayed again on the way out. It is in a convenient position between Johannesburg and Kruger. Sue & Chris went out of their way to make our stays comfortable. Chris does a marvellous "English" breakfast as you might expect. We had 2 different rooms and both were... More

Beautiful surroundings and well tended gardens and swimming pool. Roms are very well appointed - I was particularly impressed with having a 2x magnifying shaving mirror in my air conditioned room. Breakfast to order - what a pleasure! Also ordered an evening meal and had the best lamb shank ever!!! Hospitality bar shows the faith Chris & Sue have in... More
