Thanda Nani Game Lodge was our first accommodation in our trip. We came there on the first of January 2014 from Johannesburg airport by cars. We were the team of 23 persons. The owner of Lodge Johann accommodated all of us very fast, so in about half an hour we came for a dinner, which team made for us. Hospitality...

Just back from a 3 night stay in this family run lodge. The rooms are very basic. There is no TV, no internet. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and air conditioning. We were greeted by the owner Johann and make to feel like part of the family. The atmosphere was very homely. In the bar/restaurant area, there is all...

We stayed at the Lodge in October 2012. We loved it. No television and Internet is available. In the evening you can sit in the bar and talk to the owner, his family and the guides. The lodge lays in an area of 7000 ha private reserve. Rhinos, Leopards, Buffalos, giraffes, wart hogs, Impalas and other antelopes live their as...

The accommodation was excellent, the food was good and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Our safari guide was called Chris and he was brilliant. We saw the big 5 in the Kruger Park and...

We stayed in Thanda Nani game lodge for four days from 20 Oct this year, on our first ever visit to South Africa and our first experience of going on safari. The lodge was clean and comfortable, the rooms spacious, the staff all very friendly, and our guide Sean was both knowledgable and helpful. We enjoyed several game drives in...

Stayed here on Travelsphere tour. Basic clean lodge ideal whilst on game drives. All day/night free tea and coffee was a nice touch. Food very good with a friendly service. Very good guides on the safari. Lucky enough to see the big 5 twice on the same game drive.

Thanda Nani isn't about great luxury hotel style facilities - it's a more individual experience when you will see lots of animals and enjoy good company. It was lovely to sit around the log fire each evening for before and after dinner drinks, listening to all the frogs, insects etc. that made you realise you were out in the wilds.We...

This is our first experience of game lodge accommodation (part of a trip with Travelsphere). We hoped for a comfortable, intimate lodge in its own reserve and we were'nt disappointed. The room was clean and of a good size; basic but comfortable. Johann and his team were welcoming and friendly and the guides were helpful and very knowledgeable. The food...

A very welcome greeting from the owners. It felt like we were in an extended family. My lodge unfortunately had problems with air condition but the owners gave me a free game drive the next day. Food was very nice. Local produce and menu.
