Our stay at Ashbourne, though only one night, stands as one of the highlights of our trip to SA. The rooms are lovely, the bed huge and comfortable, and the breakfast enormous and delicious. The property is well laid-out, and we had a sense of complete privacy in our room and on its terrace. The views from the property are...

I spent three nights in this beautiful B&B The first night I spent in one of the B&B's rooms (included a most wonderful breakfast) and the next two nights at one of the self catering cottages. The rooms were clean, comfortable and aesthetically appealing. Towels for bathing and swimming were provided. The hosts went out of their way to make...

All the positive reviews are definitely warranted. The room we were in was beautifully appointed, the views are wonderful, the stargazing at night is magical. The welcoming hosts, Rob and Dawne, are extremely helpful with lots of insider tips of the area. Great place to stay, I can't wait to return!

We booked three nights here originally but the rooms are so comfortable and luxurious, we decided to prolong our stay. Although 'just' a standard room, there is a super-king sized bed surrounded by a mosquito net, a spacious bathroom, a living room and a terrace with beautiful views. However, what really made our stay was Rob's welcome and his helpful...

A nice place to stay when looking for accommodation in Hazyview area. We stayed in a king size bed suite, which was really comfortable and clean. Our two other guests stayed in a two bed room, with a view of the valley and the Panorama Route. Breakfast was divine and the atmosphere relaxing and peaceful! Rob and Dawn are very...

Dawn and Rob are utterly kind and welcoming people who will provide excellent service. The cottage we stayed in was just great. One might even say luxurious. It had some vintage influences which makes you think you went a couple of decades back in time. Especially when it's storming outside. The view completes it. Very romantic! Oh and the breakfast....

We stayed in the Honeymoon Cottage at Ashbourne and it really was perfect in so many ways. Upon arrival we were greeted by Rob who was and remained an absolute pleasure throughout our stay; making himself available for any request large or small and providing us with all the information, tips, maps, guides and recommendations we could possibly need. The...

There are nice places to stay in Hazyview area but Ashbourne is probably one of the best due to the quality of accommodation. The view over the hills surrounding is amazing and the bungalows are so nicely and well furnished. Harmony, peace and friendly guests and staff make it an ideal place for taking a rest of visiting Kruger, the...

On the 17th November 2016, my colleagues and I slept in Ashbourne Lodge. The lady that is managing the place is racist. For the very first time in my life I heard a person called us "you type of people" just because we are black and we are not from overseas. She also told us that she is glad that...

Racist? No. Behaviourist? Yes. By arriving after 23h00 without any consideration for the other guests, and spending half an hour having a loud debate over "why you have to leave the TV on all night so that you can sleep," is really not "the type of people" we want here. We are not prepared to have our guests stay jeopidized...

We arrived at Ashbourne on 30th oct 2 days after our wedding to begin our honeymoon. As soon as we pulled into the drive we knew it was going to be good! Situated on top of a hill with a fantastic view Ashbourne is certainly somewhere special. Rob was pool cleaning but stopped to not only show us our lodge...
