Just spent an awesome 4 nights in this happy place. Staff were exceptional, place is so well kept with beautiful gardens and deck overlooking the river with resident hippos and the bush. Could not have chosen better for our getaway. Did not even have to cook or prepare meals! Wonderful game drives, highly recommend full day game drive. We enjoyed sundowners back at the lodge every afternoon after a park visit. Will definitely be back!

Everything was amazing. Special mention needs to be made for Isaac and the rest of the staff, who were extremely attentive and friendly. The view from the deck was also incredible, and we were lucky enough to spot hippos and crocs every morning. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for 4 nights & loved staying in “Tent 2” whilst visiting Kruger NP. The tent bed was comfortable (king size), and we had our own separate bathroom & a separate kitchenette (fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery & plates, cups & wine glasses), including a fridge, microwave & cooktop - there was even a BBQ outside each tent to use. Our tent also had a split air conditioner & a mosquito net. Even though we went in winter time, we only used the air conditioner before going to sleep or as we woke up, just to take out the chill in the air a bit, as the thick doona was enough to keep us warm throughout the night. There are three tents (tents 1-3) which have the same set up - tent & separate kitchenette & bathroom. And there are two other tents (tents 4-5) that have their bathroom & kitchenette al under the same roof. Staff are super friendly & assist you with all your enquires (they even hosed down our hire car each morning). We booked a full day safari & a morning safari with them whilst there - best thing we did, as we saw all types of animals at Kruger NP (only 20kms from there). We also went to Kruger NP by ourselves in our hire car for 2 days to explore. The accommodation has a pool & a fire pit & an on-site restaurant. The wifi was a bit hit & miss sometimes, but hey you always had the lovely scenery to admire! I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation if you want a clean, reasonably priced accommodation, with friendly staff, without all the bells & whistles.

Great lodge just outside the Kruger park, about 30 minutes by car. Very kind staff and excellent breakfast and if you decide to use half board you will also have a great dinner. Accommodations located on decks facing the river where hippos and some crocodiles swim every day.
