For a bush experience, this was really the place to be. In spite of the drought, it is still beautiful. Campsite kitchen well appointed and the tents clean and comfortable. Totally not wheelchair friendly. Staff were really friendly and helpful

My girlfriend and I stayed at PRC for four nights. We arrived on a Friday and left the following Tuesday. The camp setting is not too bad, although one must not expect to have a view on the river. The campsites are kept clean and are very basic, but not much provision has been made for height clearance when camping...

Would not reccomend this camp to anyone. Getting there is a complete nightmare unless one comes on the main road from Louis Trichardt. The owners when contacted for assistance were less than helpful . Accomodation is very basic , no electricity, no hot water (the gas geyser was broken) . The camp is in need of a good overhaul and...

The camp is situated in one of the most scenic parts of SA. We often visit the north of Kruger and this was the first time that we stayed outside the park. The camp is clean and well managed. We were allocated a campsite with private ablutions. The facilities are basic, but the friendly staff assist with some nice touches...

Pafuri River Camp is a tented camp that is situated next to the Krugerpark, the entrance is just before the Pafuri gate. You will need a bakkie (SUV) or a vehicle that is not low on the ground, as the road to the camp is littered with rocks and boulders. This is not 5 star accomodation, but it is a...

This is a peaceful spot just stones throw away from the northern entrance to the kruger park. Self catering or eat at the lodge restaurant, nice to have both options. Unusual and comfortable accommodation on stilted 'tree houses', also option to camp. Interesting walks around camp. Staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. Well managed by a knowlegable and enthusiastic Zimbabwean.

Very friendly staff welcome you to individual camping spots that are serviced daily, with well kept ablutions and washing up facilities close by. A cosy outside bar and splash pool are a few meters away from the camping spots and meals are available on request and we saw nag-aaps in the trees above us, which was a treat. Close camping...

We visited the camp in September for a 3 night stay, the drive to the camp was terrible and we could have walked faster! The rustic camp was peaceful until midnight when a herd of cows were driven into the camp. These cows had tin cans around their necks which made disgusting noise for about 3 hours. The Manager Robert...

The Camp is certainly rustic with no electricity. This was not a problem nor was the dinner supplied. What was disappointing is the close proximity of a village and all the noises from this. After about an hours sleep we were wakened at midnight by a racket of "cow bells" This was not the melodious kind but large tin cans....

We stayed in the Camp for one night and were not impressed. The accommodation is in need of an overhaul with especially the area around the pool being dangerous in terms of loose nails and missing wooden planks. We found the beds very uncomfortable. Also, during our stay, an industrial generator from a neighboring site made a lot of noise...
