This location is near the waterfront and faces primarily to the west, which make for nice sunsets. The interior needs to be updated and the parking lot is in desperate need or repaving. While they advertise a hot breakfast, the dining room is effectively closed and only offer a bag lunch. The Direct TV cuts out from time to time which is frustrating. The channel schedule on Channel 0 is blank and useless. My room was clean, but the coffee for the in room coffee maker is old and the walls are a bit thin, as well as the ceiling if you have a large person (or kids) above you.
Just spent 2 nights for personal business. Very happy with the cleanliness of the room, bathroom was spotless. Quiet nice place to stay. Staff was friendly. Minor complaints: I realize covid restrictions, but bagged breakfast was underwhelming - yogurt, muffin, granola bar and water instead of the juice I was told was in the bag. A piece of fruit would be nice - an apple, orange or banana to start the day. I am really short 4 ft 10, and the bed was quite high, so it was a challenge getting in to it. ha ha But very comfortable, I slept well. Only had a table and 2 hard chairs, would have liked a comfortable chair for relaxing in the evening. The most important thing to me is to have a clean room where I feel safe and Travelodge provided that. I will surely stay there again.…
We stayed just this past week. The rooms were nice, no complaints whatsoever. There was a lovely dog area, best one I’ve seen yet, where you can walk your dogs and there is a pole where baggies are to clean up after them. Shying away from the technicals, the staff was just wonderful! I felt like the front desk young women was actually interested in me as a person and she didn’t treat me like just a customer. Thanks for making my stay enjoyable. I will definitely be back soon. Good luck in college Natalee:)
Day one: left by 5am (as outside adventurers do!) so we missed breakfast. Pout. Next day...slept past 9 am (as outside adventurers do!) and AGAIN missed breakfast. What? 😳 Your "bagged" breakfast can't go for longer than 9 am? Or begin before 6 am?? Well call me shocked. Because I don't believe you. So you got over on me for 2 days straight. I'm sure your owner is pleased you saved him $2 for each day on breakfast costs. But may I make a suggestion? When a guest begs you for breakfast, and it's not checkout time yet, PROVIDE IT. 🤷 If you don't start thinking of the customer, they're going to stop thinking of you.
We stayed just this past weekend checking out Sunday 11/29. We were there because my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer not too long ago. So we’ve come out here to spend sometime due to the failure of treatment. I remember I hadn’t even mentioned it but the young girl at front desk Saturday asked me if I was alright. I explained and in return she had opened up to me, a complete stranger, saying that her mom went through the same thing when she was younger. We stood there and talked for a bit. She even made me laugh. Forget the amenities of the hotel, the people there have big hearts and even kinder spirits. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!
