My wife and I saw this place while circling the lake on our waverunners. One day while in Lake havasu on our vacation we decided to take the ferry to the casino. Once there we signed up for the players club. I went to a keno machine and dropped $20 into it. My wife decided that we were hungry and wanted to go to the restaurant (at this time I didn't have a chance to play at all) so I cashed out and noticed that I had $57 on my voucher. Obviously someone else had money in this machine and I didn't notice when I put my 20 in. I looked around and didn't see anyone that was missed money. I kept the voucher in my pocket just in case. When my wife and I were at the restaurant, we were approached by security and demanded that I hand over the voucher that I had. I explained to the guard that it was an honest mistake and $20 of that was mine. Security proceeds in calling me a liar and started making a scene. I've never been soo embarrassed. I asked him to check the history of the machine against video footage and ended up giving him the voucher just to stop the unpleasant experience he had caused to me. He left (with my voucher) came back 20min later and gave me my$20. No apologies. He said that I should check the machines I play before playing them. I told him thanks to him I wouldn't be coming back. …
I booked this hotel because I had a job In Meedles CA, and Hotels .com listed this resort as being in needles. It was 40 min away. Anyway, checked in, staff was very nice. The room was OUTSTANDING. Easily top 5 most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, but a 20 minute ferry ride puts you in restaurant heaven. Before bed I decided to play a little blackjack, which also turned out to be a positive result for me. The only thing I have close to a complaint is that I wish there were a refrigerator in the room. But overall, an outstanding experience.
#82 original side near camp ground nothing special, and sparse..bare minimum for a rental. We had to juggle light bulbs from fixtures to replace burned out on patio(for safety sake) , living room ( never found a bulb, dark TV viewing or reading) . THE loudest AC return / fan.
We had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend at Havasu Landing - we rented an RV and rented site 801 - it was perfect, right on the water, and on the edge of the campsite. Upon check in they drove us down to our campsite so we knew exactly where to go. We rented a golf cart to use around the property for the weekend - so much fun!
the views are the best thing about this place. unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Seems like your bothering them just by being there. The ferry ride is very nice. The restaurant is terrible. Brown salsa? Save your money and find somewhere else to go but the views are very pleasant
