A three night stay at the spectaculaire river view bungalows 10, 11 & 12. The views are more beautiful than ever, the bungalows are renovated, spotlessly clean and very well outfitted for self-catering. The staff, including the ´baboon patrol', are helpful and efficient. Very nice sightings of birds (e.g african ground hornbill, korrie bustard), cats (leopard in the tree) elephant... More

Breathtakingly beautiful! Take your binoculars with and sit at the viewing spot or the new Mugg and Bean restaurant, but watch for monkeys if you have any food. A very good shop with snacks for the road and good quality curios. Also a picnic spot which is away from the viewing area.

In your small Bungalow you have no luxury but everything you need. Including kitchen and a firepit. Avalable: rastaurant, shop, tours, gas-Station. now ist yours to discover the wilderness. Oloant also lies in a nice area.

Olifants Camp really stole our hearts. The challet were beautiful and spacious it was also very neat and nicely upgraded. The lookout at the river is also one of the best. We saw the most incredible animals by the camp. The Mugg & Bean was just as incredible. The food and service was just the best.

The camp is managed by SANPark, and offers good standards, not luxuriuous but clean, well kept and functional. The rooms are tucul-like, with private bathroom, basic style, but work. The camp is equipped with a bar-restaurant, store, fuel station. The most beautiful thing in your stay is the view from the bar-restaurant, that is in high position, allowing you to... More

I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend. As everyone has already noted, the view is amazing. The staff were also friendly (much more so than at other campsites within the Kruger). We didn't have a kitchenette - just a bathroom and beds. If you want to cook (which we found to be more fun than eating out at... More

Kruger is a very special place, a real life experience. We were very happy at Olifants. The chalets were lovely and quaint, round like a hobbies house! Fantastic game drive opportunities. We saw so much! The restaurant and shop have stunning views of the Olifants River. A very special place. Highly recommended.

I was quite amazed when I saw in the reception area that this camp got the 2016 award for the best camp. If this was based on the staff and their attitude, I totally disagree. While being in the shop waiting to pay for my purchases, a lady, her accent was German, asked the female cashier at the till to... More

The Olifant's Rest Camp remains our favourite camp in the Kruger National Park. The amazing vistas over the Olifants river is breathtaking. We have spotted so much wildlife, Elephants, Kudu's, Hippopotamus, Impala's, Waterbuck etc. We had a lovely upgraded 3 bed bungalow with river views. The food of the Mugg & Bean was very good. Also a big thank you... More

We stayed In Olifants for 2 nights. We couldn't get a bungalow with direct river view, but we're given nr 39. It was almost as good! We could see the river and we're woken by the call of fish eagles every morning. Baboons are a bit of a problem in the camp, but there are 'baboon monitors' walking through the... More
