We stayed in a bungalow on our last night in Kruger Park. The bungalow was very clean and had a great view towards the veld and swimming pool. We were visited by Guinea fowls and monkeys and a few bosbokkies. There was a female hyena with pups just outside the camp living in a culvert (drainage pipe). There were cars... More

Reception staff were friendly and efficient. The camp shop is well stocked, although a bit overpriced but it was expected in such a tourist destination. Rondawels were clean with sufficient blankets and towels. The hot and cold water taps are not marked and are not the same as in the rest of the country.

Our last night in Kruger we stayed in one of the rest huts at Pretoriuskop. The huts make use of communal ablution and kitchen. These facilities are clean and kept in a neat condition. The hut that we stayed in was huge, a six sleeper unit. It had the basics we needed. Again our experiance were that it is very... More

The shop is well equipped and very neat. It's smaller than the one at Skukuza, but I preferred it. There is a Wimpy onsite m and although the staff were very helpful I do believe that they should get a restaurant that is more appropriate with the ambiance of the Kruger National Park.

Last day Krugerpark we stayed in a room so we dont need to pack all before we leave next day. Room is alright, has a table and two chairs, frigde, 2 single beds and a sink. Very simply but good enough. The camp itself was huge, we walked in the night next to the fence to spot animals, but the... More

We motor home in Kruger every 6 weeks or so. As an avid amateur wildlife photographer motor homing allows for maximum exposure to game for extended periods of time in the Kruger. Taking a short 5 day get away last weekend we decided to stay in the revamped chalets at Pretoriuskop for a couple of nights. We were pleasantly surprised... More

Having visited Pretoriuskop and knowing how good the sightings can be around the rest camp we decided to book our first night in Kruger at this camp. They have changed their dining and have introduced a Wimpy, albeit slightly different to your usual UK/US Wimpy it has a wider variety of foods and the staff were very willing to please.... More

We had a chalet, selfcatering, very clean with all the necessary kitchen equipment. Not much game seen on our trips. Still very dry after months of no or little rain. Auf jeden Fall kann man das Kamp sehr empfehlen.

The premises are neat and tidy and very affordable. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are serene.. Waking up and watching the monkeys at play was just an extra bonus.. I can definitely recommend this as a romantic weekend break.

My least favourite camp. I mostly disliked the whole outside kitchen idea_ the fact that your pantry & fridge are outside, the firdge is locked inside a little cage, and one has to repeatedly go in and out of the house with keys and locks just to grab a bite to eat. The only plus I suppose is that it's... More
