We stayed at Jock Safari and had 10 drives and had an absolutely amazing time. We had Patrick as our ranger and he was brilliant. We had great fun with him and the 2 other couples we did our daily trips with and who we were with throughout the trip. Patrick took time to find out what we wanted to... More

We stayed at Jock for five nights from Wednesday 9th to Monday 14th November 2016 Jock has its own private concession within Kruger where one is very much alone in the wooded savanna, that forms the landscape of Kruger, and its wildlife. However the safaris also go into the public areas where other vehicles are encountered but this did not... More

We stayed here for three nights and had six game rides, saw the big 5 and also some wild dogs trying to bring a wildebeest down. We saw leopards in trees two with kills, also a hyena chasing a leopard away from its kill. The rooms are lovely and relaxing on the day bed looking out over the nearly dry... More

Arrived in time for evening drive and every drive was excellent. Ranger Laserus ensured that we saw everything including the 'big five' all most on every drive. We had 'sundowners' in spectacular places even though the weather wasn't kind to us, it didn't diminish the experience. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Hotel was beautiful and all staff were... More

This was our first experience of a Safari. We were met at Skukuza airport by Laz who was to be our ranger for our stay. From the minute we left the airport he was pointing out different animals to us. We loved the lodge. There are twelve rooms for people to stay in and a ranger "looks after" about six... More

The Jock is a luxury hotel but its service had many problems. First, they forgot to bring my breakfast one morning, they tried to solve that and brought to my room but when we got at night for our safari the dishes were still there and they did not clean the trash, put more toilet paper and put the water... Private suite with very good facilities overlooking dry riverbed with small waterhole that was visited by rhinos, buffalos a giraffe and impala. Game drives in early morning and in the evening provided viewing opportunities for all of the big 5, although leopards were a little shy. Good catering facilities, more than anyone could possibly eat. Would definitely like to return... More

We were there for 4 nights . We took Game drives every day at dawn and dusk. We missed nothing, including the big 5 the first drive. Staff is great , accommodations are more than fine but please don't expect absolute perfection as you are in the bush. Food and wines were as good as you can get short of... More
