My wife and I recently spent 4 nights at The Outpost. It was a wonderful experience!A remarkable lodge and excellent food in a unique landscape. We travel a lot and we have never come across such friendly professional staff who all enjoy working together as a team.Highly recommended!

The rooms are extraordinary and the view is great. During the Game drives there are many nice spots for a sundowner where the guides brings you to, e.g. Gorges, Fever tree Forest, River... The Food is very delicious and of high quality.

The three sides of the rooms open up completely so that you are almost sleeping outdoors, with all the comforts of a resort hotel. All the staff were terrific, lots of individual attention and care given.

The service at The Outpost was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was unbelievable, with remote controlled blinds opening up on wide views and allowing the whole room to be open to the fresh air, and no detail was spared, right down to the Nespresso machine. Meals too were excellent and... More

The Outpost is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The staff is friendly and courteous. My sister was injured at the time and they drove to another lodge to pick up a wheelchair for her stay. The guides for the game drives were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions and seek out each... More

We spent 4 days at this magical spot. Everything is incredible: the food, the service, the accommodation and the setting!! We loved our game drives and especially our game walk. We had a private dinner under the stars which one of the best experiences I have ever had. I definitely recommend this spot for a unique and special bush experience!

Stayed for 3 nights and loved every second spent here. Game drives - extremely comfortable vehicles and such varied landscapes on morning and evening drives. Our guide, Sam, was incredible - cannot praise him enough. His knowledge of the local bird life is beyond belief - he can identify any bird from just a glimpse or by hearing their call.... More

Unbelievable setting with beautifully appointed rooms with the ability to open the front and sides. Fantastic food and drinks, very friendly and efficient staff. Game drives in 28 000 hectares where you hardly see another vehicle. The most magnificent scenery and trees. Definately worth a trip.

We had 2 lovely nights at The Outpost (Pafuri region). The camp was lovely and the rooms (spaces as they call them) were modern with exquisite views over the valley and river. The rooms all had retractable blinds which allowed 270 degree views and a real feeling out being out there! Superb. Northern Kruger does not have as much game... More

We were lucky enough to draw Richard Evans as our guide: he communicated his wide knowledge of the place and his passion for the animals. It was wonderful to be able to lift the walls and be hanging in space under the stars. The staff was lovely and accommodating. And the animals!! Richard took us to the great gray green... More
