Rhino Post Safari Lodge is situated at the southern end of our 12,000 hectare private wilderness concession in the Kruger National Park. The concession shares a 15km unfenced boundary with the famous Mala Mala and Sabi Sand reserve with an abundance of wildlife moving freely between the two reserves. The concession is noted as an excellent game viewing area with encounters with the Big Five and where good sightings of wild animals can be expected. Rhino Post Safari Lodge is set under magnificent Tamboti trees on the banks of the Mutlumuvi Riverbed. The nature of a wilderness area is that there are no permanent structures, so Rhino Post Safari Lodge is built with natural materials – stone, wood, thatch and canvas - to give it an authentic bush feel. Each of the 8 suites are beautifully decorated with the bedroom and lounge area having wonderful views of the riverbed.

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip. We had been at the Plains Walking Safari Camp for 3 nights prior to this. Rhino is a completely different experience because the watering hole is much closer and one can see the animals very easily. We had monkeys

Dear Laurie B Thank you for the wonderful review. I'm so glad you and your son enjoyed your stay. Believe it or not, our chefs love dietary requirements - they enjoy the challenge of leaving out certain items, and still creating great food - so their enthusiasm might have outdone your appetite :). I will pass your compliments on to Maryke - I'm sure she enjoyed your enthusiasm just as much. There's something very special about sharing exciting moments with people who really appreciate them and don't get to do it as often as we do. Kind regards Nikki Meyer

We are spending three nights in this lodge, now for the second time. An unforgettable experience again. Major part of this experience is connected to our ranger Bonga. He is ready to go the extra mile each time. Any time again.

Dear 685andrasg Thank you for the lovely review, and for coming back to stay with us again. It's our favourite thing, seeing 'old friends'. You're right, Bonga is a great guide, we have a really wonderful team of enthusiastic and passionate staff who really love what they do. I will be sure to pass your compliments on to Bonga. Kind regards Nikki Meyer

Sorry for slow reply. No we only stayed at Rhino Post Safari Lodge for our visit. Stayed for 3 nights. My wife is also fairly certain that hairdryers were provided. It's quite luxurious so I can't imagine that they wouldn't have any.

Good Day Beth Thank you for your message. We unfortunately do not have handheld nozzles in the bathtubs but we would be happy to supply a jug to allow you to rinse your hair with fresh water. However, the weather in winter months is quite pleasant during the day and you will be able to enjoy a very pleasant shower outdoors. The evenings do get a little chilly so you may prefer to have a warm bath at this time. We would love to have you visit us and we are sure you will enjoy our African winter. Kind Regards Andiswa
