While visiting Magoebaskloof, we stayed at this lovely house for the weekend. It's situated in a lovely and cozy neighborhood, we felt like we were in a different world. We woke up to birds chirping and the surrounding is absolutely marvelous!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Kaya Khutso is a place of rest in the picturesque village of Haenertsburg, on the slopes of the mighty Wolkberg. This magical place is known as the Land of the Silver Mist where the mountain meets the river. Our upmarket en-suite bedrooms can sleep up to 10 guests comfortably. The establishment is beautifully decorated in African style with a bit of colonial grandeur, guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning visitor. We offer five en-suite bedrooms, each with its own balcony and braai area overlooking the forest. We offer beautiful gardens and lovely breakfasts and dinners on request. The three-storey thatched house is situated on the edge of an indigenous forest; an ideal blend of colonial comfort and style. When enjoying a barbecue on the sun deck, there is a feeling of total relaxation that envelopes you. Our local pub and restaurant is a favourite gathering place where you can listen to stories and legends associated with our vibrant history. The area boasts an incredible variety of plant and animal life, as well as an abundance of natural, cultural and historical attractions to explore.
