We arrived here on our wedding night at around 10 pm. It had been a long day and we were exhausted however when we go to the counter to check in they had difficult locating our booking and after considerable back and forth between the staff they eventually confirmed and we were led to our rooms. the paths are not... My husband and I arrived at Forrest Suites Hotel for a mid year break. Upon arrival there was only a receptionist seated behind a desk. No other staff was visible. I went to find out where the check in desk was as there was no one to great Us and was told I was at the right place. I have... More

From the minute we arrived the experience was shocking, Mangwanani has taken over for Fairmont and it clearly shows! No beds for the kids at arrival, no bedding once moved, then no towels, no teaspoons, (ongoing fight every day to get basic amenities) golf carts not maintained in 2 years and very dangerous(when you can get one), staff insult guests... My partner and I decided to have a short break over the New Year at Zimbali. We were delighted when we were able to book a room at what appeared to be a luxury getaway destination. You can imagine our disappointment upon arrival when, from the outset, it became apparent our stay would fall well short of our expectations. In... More

After having been at zimbali ️resort for 10 nights, we stayed here for our last 4 nights at forest suites hotel. We were highly disappointed upon arrival from very horrible wallpaintings, smelly room, poor quality and insufficient bath towels, dead and alive insects all over the place including a baby snake. Caught a glimpse of the filthy duvet inner which... More

My wife turned the BIG 40 (dare I say)! We stayed at the Forest Suites for a week and it was pure bliss. We have stayed here a couple of times before but this time was very special. From the moment we walked in until our departure we were made to feel very special. Our dinners at Thandi was exceptional.... More

We recently stayed at the Forest suites. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, large bathrooms and nicely situated in the forest. There is no view except for the trees as you are in the forest. Staff were friendly and helpful and the inclusive breakfast was good, service a bit slow at breakfast. They give you a golf cart for... Great location, great surroundings, pity about the staff and the decor. The staff are not very friendly or welcoming. Service at breakfast is unbelievably slow. I was served raw sausages and had to send it back to be cooked. Room service was also very slow. Not sure if they under staffed or just inefficient. The TV's are ancient and don’t... More

We stayed one night at Forest Suites at Zimbali. We were not expecting anything special, but were blown away by what we got. We had a large suite, with many decorations, a large bed, and a large bathroom, with indoor and outdoor shower. There was a large deck looking out at the forest. Be aware that there are monkeys in... The rooms were incredible, large, luxurious and lovely. The food was some of the best we have eaten in a long time. The staff were great being alert to all our needs. All in all a memorable stay. As a couple we had a great time golf spa beach and relaxing an ideal recipe for a weekend away.
