The guesthouse is beautiful, very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful wildlife. The place was perfect for our long weekend and very close to all of the attractions but far enough away from the town to provide a very tranquil environment. Our hosts Mike and Narja were very accommodating and friendly and full of advice of the best places to visit...

What was originally planned as an overnight stay, soon became two. And three. And four! All credit to our wonderful hosts, Mike and Harja, and the idyllically situated, super clean, comfortable lodgings on offer. Unexpectedly we had four luxurious days of exploring one of the most beautiful places on earth. And still there is so much more to be seen...

We went on a long cross-country road trip from JoBurg to Cape Town with 4 kids, and our almost grumpy family lightened up upon as we stopped over this little haven in Wilderness. We were booked in the Strelitzia cottage and the Tin room, which was ideal for a family such as ours, as it gave the younger kids some...

Mike and Harja were wonderful hosts. The Old Trading Post is off the main road that connects the Garden Route and it means it is quiet and very peaceful. Mike and Harja are warm and welcoming hosts and made us feel completely at home. The garden is beautiful, and the small pool area is fantastic for relaxing on a hot day.
