We had an absolute wonderful time. The chalet was spotless clean and in pristine condition. It is a great place for families. Next time we will stay longer. And thank you for your concern when my husband slipped and fell. Much appreciated. Service was excellent and people very friendly. Our room was such a delight, with a beautiful view on... More

Stayed with extended family for a week after Pirates Creek. Absolute pleasure for my kids as there are plenty of children running around and they were kept entertained... However if you don't like kids or noise this will annoy you You are on the river, but have to cross the national highway to get to the beach so rather drive.

We took our 3 litte boys along with us and enjoyed a lovely weekend in a safe, tranquil environment. We enjoyed canoeing and hiking. The accommodation was good..huge bathroom, TV sets are a bit outdated. The staff and management can be improved..we were told that they don't allow late check ins...not mentioned anywhere on the website and the staff office... More

We chose Pirates Creek as we were visiting Sa and meeting up with family. It made for wonderful family times as we could book neighbouring cabins. The cabins are comfortable with all the basics....except a coffee plunger...and the view was tranquil with plenty of space to run around and play. We booked 3 cabins on the riverfront and I would... Wilderness is beautiful. The accommodation was charming in the wooden log cabins and the view was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. What you don't know is that if you are looking for a romantic, quiet getaway, you may be disappointed for the following reasons: 1. The N2 national highway runs directly behind the resort. So expecting a... More

Lovely stay in wilderness. Situated right on the lake...canoo hire from a local company in sedgefield. They will deliver and collect boats. Loved the log cabins! Fully self catering. There is a braai area and deck...outside table and chairs. There is a tv...but we never used it. Fishing is good here, my husband caught loads of leervis.

We stayed at Pirates Creek recently after seeing the resort last year. The two bedroom chalet that we stayed in with very average. The chalet is dark in winter because of the tree situated right in front of it. There are NO heaters and we were left with about 4 matches to light the gas stove for 3 nights !... More

We recently visited Pirates Creek as a family to celebrate my mother's birthday. The wooden cabins are really nice and the main bathroom is AMAZING!! The view of the river and the birds just made this a very relaxing weekend. The service received was average as we phoned the Reception a couple of times and left messages but never received... We were planning on spending one night at Pirate's Creek on a road trip through the Garden Route but we liked it so much that we stayed for 2. We would probably have stayed longer but our chalet was booked already for our 3rd night. That pretty much says it all, it's in an awesomely beautiful location, right on the... More

Pirates Creek offers an excellent retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Wooden cabins are very well equiped with modern amenities. We loved the river and spent our days swimming and rowing.
