The Goble Palms Guest Lodge & Urban Retreat is indeed a treat. I spend two nights at the honeymoon suit, with a view on the pool, surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. But the best thing about the Goble Palms are its people, which are not only working but dedicating their passion to this little sanctuary. My absolute favourite is the breakfast feast, all home made with a big pinch of love.

If I could give this place 6 out 5 I would! Everybody went out of their way to take care of us during our stay and the whole place was spotless, not to mention a really charming property with lots of nice places to hang out and lovely historical features. I had been having a pretty awful week ,so was very gloomy and when we arrived in the morning it was chucking with rain too. Staff immediately mobilized and got us comfy in the lounge with some hot coffee and biscuits. We had planned to drop our bags and go straight to the beach and grab brunch, but instead the team cooked us up some breakfast and got us in to our room asap so we could change and rest while we waited for the rain to calm down. It really brightened my mood and was just a really fantastic example of how great hospitality can really make your stay special. We loved the curries at nearby Indian restaurant Malis and also walked over to Mitchell's Park for lunch at Spiga (about 30mins walk which took us past a fantastic look out point). I'd really like to say thank you to all the team- and especially the manager who swiftly got us out of the rain and gloomy moods on our arrival. Can't wait to come back, such a chilled and charming place with a most warm, welcoming and efficient team of staff. Keep up the good work!

The property is great, I had a lovely stay. The room could've been a bit cleaner though, but it was still comfortable and looked lovely. Loved the decor and vibe and the hotel manager went out of his way to make sure my stay was pleasant. Overall, great stay. Will be going back again.
